Haha! I knew that was what you were going to post when I seen your name. Probably the drunkest watching 'Well was the CIS Cup Semi defeat to Celtic a couple of years ago.
-
Aslong as he plays in midfield and not as a centre half with Reynolds!
-
Mind both games very well. O'Boyle scored a cracker from the half way line in that match and I remember the win against Gers being Spencer's debut. Mind his goal as if it was yesterday. Used to sit in The Cooper in those days.
-
Haha! I am kidding myself on. I am sure after a good swally I will be there with no problems at all!
-
I think that they may get a bit of a shock when they come into this meeting. The stewards/police are not going to give into every demand made. Be alot of give and take which I dont see being too popular. Will be very good to hear what is gained out of the meeting but I have a feeling that respect is required on both sides for any movement forward to take place.

Cant grudge him the MOTM award. He has won the last 4 matches! I am feeling terrible with the cold/flu so am rated 50/50 on making the trip on Saturday.
-
He is out of contract at the end of the season.
-
Remember it was members of the MST board that arranged the very much enjoyed night for Phil O'Donnell in Motherwell Civic Centre. They do more than you think but still not enough.
-
Tommy Coyne for me. Started becoming a regular at Fir Park the season before the signed and when being a kid you automatically take a shine to the guy scoring the goals. Not until I looked back in recent years and see how good he actually was at the time. Quite liked Spencer aswell when he first signed for us!

I see your point Neil but am I not right in saying that the Association is dying on its arse these days? I seem to remember them struggling to take one bus to some away matches. This must show that they have poor numbers and 100 tickets is well over the amount that should have been awarded.
-
Without a shadow of a doubt! I just feel that they are now really making progress and any progress to build bridges is positive. The up and coming meeting with The WellBoys and the security staff at Fir Park is something that could be positive also. Just beware lads that they will want a little give and take on the issues.

We make a commitment to the club by paying our money upfront (Which I am under the impression that the club prefere so they can set out budgets for the coming season). This is a perk that they give to encourage more people to by the season books and up until now its not been needed. The question is why should the SA have a bigger priority than others? PS: This is in no way a dig at people who are not season ticket holders as I can see many reason why some people cant buy a season ticket but still make it to the majority of matches.
-
Why did the SA receive 100 tickets from the 500 we received for the Scottish Cup match. Think this is awful and at the end of the day the members of the SA are 'Well fans like the rest of us and should have had to get out of their beds at 7am to join the queue at Fir Park. I got my ticket but think this is an awful way to distribute tickets. I am sure the majority of people who wanted a ticket managed to get one but why should a season ticket holder potenitally have missed out for a member of the SA who may not be a season ticket holder?

I aint a member of MST and I have no intentions till there are a few changes but with a few new guys on the board they are making the right noises. Guys like David Fraser, Phillip Speedie, Andy Ross and Joe Smith are guys that will really do what they can for us supporters. How would the fans elect one guy to be the contact between the fans and the club? Do we just elect Joe Bloggs from the East Stand? I feel it is better to go through an organisation like MST as it would make things alot smoother and WE WOULD get answers.
-
Personally I think it would be best for The Well Trust to be in this position. It would be an organisation that would then liase back with us fans.
-
Aye Porter gets it due to popping a hat trick into the onion bag but think a few players could have pipped him if the goals were better spread. Clarkson, O'Brien and Hughes were great. Also Klimpl done the job that Bob Malcolm was employed for superbly. Well Done 'Well as at times we knocked the ball about in a great fashion. Still only one win and we need to build on this.
-
Chris Porter was outstanding today. Great goals and well taken. Good to see that McGhee recognised the contribution of others as I thought Clarkson, O'Brien and Hughes were excellent today. Good luck Chris as going on last season and today you are far too good for us and probably Forest aswell.
-
Not fully read the posts above but will do tomorrow when sobber. One result against SPL fodder (Worst SPL side????) doesnt make us world beaters. Keep the gutties on the deck!
-
Excellent today. That guy is harder than a brick wall. he is what we are crying out for and once he is fully fit I think he will be a GREAT addition to the team!
-
You making it today big chap?
-
Good to see you agree with me Jay!
-
Did he use the funds he was given wisely? Did Jim O'Brien not cost us a fee?
-
I was here a hell of a long time before Mark McGhee came rolling into town and I will be there once he has crawled back to the gay capital of the United Kingdom. He has got the ability to pick a team up from nothing but I dont think he can turn a team on its way down. There is no doubt that Hearts are a bigger club than Motherwell (So are Dundee United, Aberdeen and Hibs) but when he decided to stay at Motherwell it was for his own benefit as much as it was for us. He was going to take a team into Europe for the first time in his management career and something else to add to the CV. He got an increase in salary at Fir Park and I am also assuming some sort of promise of investment by the board. Dont let him kid you as he is making out to be the innocent victim in the downturn in our fortunes this season. He dealt with the media really well last season and always came across as someone most people would like to listen to but his comments in the past couple of months have been awful and very distrepectful to us fans. Think he will be here till May but will walk next summer.

The guy is a tosser of the highest order.
