Who do we replace him with? We are not in the position to attract a high profile manager so who do we turn to? Bobby Williamson would come in and steady the ship. He would build a side that would want to fight for the cause. Would be very interesting who would want to take the position at Fir Park.

I do agree with you Haggis as I think we all know it would be the cheap option. However as mentioned elsewhere I would be looking to someone like Bobby Williamson. He wouldn't play attractive football but he would pick up enough points to ensure SPL survival which should always be our main aim!

Noticed a scout looking bloke with a Geordie accent outside the ticket office picking up a couple of tickets for tonights match and also a guy with Wolves gear on wondering about having a chat with Brian Rice (Falkirk). Not sure who he would take on that performance but I assume Porter was the man they were here to see (with the exception of Rice as he was probably only there to take in a scouting report for a future match).

We have been playing stuff of the same standard served up under Malpas for months. McGhee doesn't want to be here and its rubbing off on the players. Too many players not pulling their weight and it needs to change. Cliff Richard scores more often than us these days!

Left early and back in the house furious after another awful display. We are relegation candidates big time now and we are in huge bother. We don't have a side that has the bite and bottle for a dog fight. The likes of St Mirren, ICT and Hamilton look like they will be able to grind out points here and there. We are in a lot of bother folks and January will have to be players in to give us a chance as if we dont string together a wee run soon we will be up to our necks in it. McGhee has lost the players big time. He doesn't want to be here and the players are picking up on this vibe and showing it in our performances. I wouldnt be doing anything too public. It was a very sad day for everyone but you need to put things behind you. Maybe an applause at the match but I would leave it at that. These things are far better passing without anything too public. The majority of us didnt know Phil O'Donnell personally so I dont see the huge need to remember his death with some sort of huge gesture. If you feel that you really need to do something then do something like Cakes above which is not public but will still let him feel he is doing his wee mark of respect. I think a mass public gesture would be very cringeworthy to be honest. I know the above isnt many peoples point of view so shoot me down if you wish!
