  1. Fuck me, if that is one of the most cringeworthy then you ain't been about much...

    Lionel Ainsworth

There is wanting to stay and being able to afford to stay. We will be offering him a contract on reduced terms and he may not be able to afford to accept the wage drop.
  3. With the financial backing that Thistle are getting, along with County having a wealthy man behind them, I can see them both being better than us going forward. You are then looking at potentially losing Accies this season and replaced by Falkirk/Dundee United who both have the potential to be atleast as good as us (and possibly better). It doesn't leave much at the bottom to be scrapping it out with...
  4. Lets not pretend that the performance on Saturday was anything but piss poor. The standard of football played was dreadful but we got the three points, which was the main aim. Don't think anyone really stood out for me as a MOTM as it was such a dull encounter. Griffiths doesn't fill me with confidence and look extremely nervous anytime a high ball came into him. Going on the very little I have seen him, I wouldn't be pursuing him for a permanent move in the summer. It looks like we might just crawl over the line now, which will be a massive relief. With the improvement that Hibs will bring to the league, I can only see a further struggle next season and I reckon we have only just delayed the inevitable for relegation for another 12months.
  5. This fixture is giving me the fear. I just can't see our players getting up for it and Accies will have bucket loads of fight in them. Two really poor teams with very little quality. I reckon we will see a 2-0 Accies win.
  6. Looks like no pay at the gate. All ticket. Confirmed by the club on Twitter about 15mins ago.
  7. Mannus is a very good goalkeeper and would be an improvement on what we currently have in our side. I will be very disappointed if we go into 2017/2018 season with Samson as number one, despite an improvement in performance since the turn of the year.
  8. I would bet that Murphy won't be in the side next season. They will spend a bit of cash and can see him moving to a Norwich type club in the summer. Let be honest, he is a good player but not up to the standard of the EPL.
  9. Going to assume they wont be in that order... (especially since the final round of matches are on a Saturday so cannot have a 3pm kick off).
  10. I'm probably closer to your view than Fraz's. Whilst I wouldn't say I am over it immediately after a poor result, I cant remember the last time I woke up on a Sunday morning when it was still bothering me. I used to watch highlights and dissect every error shown but that is long gone, with me rarely even watching highlights out with those shown on Goals on Sunday. Everyone is different, but for me its more than a hobby but not my life.
  11. 100% correct. That St Johnstone game (which I think we lost 1-0) was my one and only match in the North Stand terracing. I was an East Stand kid but was taken in there for the final match of that season. I am also sure that I was mascot in that Dundee United match you describe...
  12. Has possibly come from a link to Robinson/Craigan as he was previously involved with the Northern Ireland Youth set up. Edit - Just read on the official site that he played with Robinson. Clearly the link!
  13. 24hrs later than I believed...
  14. If Dom Thomas and Zak Jules are the answer then I really don't want to know the question! We are doomed!
  15. Seems my source has been feeding me nonsense... Some people aint half got themselves worked up!
  16. Be confirmed Robinson by the end of the day, per my original post.
  17. Heading up to take advantage of the half price replica strips?
  18. Ben Heneghan was excellent at the back and won everything in the air. Can't really see past him, however special mention to Samson who over the last two matches has put in some decent performances.
  19. The only other candidate that was considered for the role isn't even on the SkyBet market. Only two interviewed for the job and they are going with Robinson. Edited to add - I've not been told the reason why they have taken this long but my guess would be that the people we wanted were not interested.
  20. Robinson until the summer. Will be confirmed no later than COB tomorrow.
  21. Alex Neil will be nowhere near our manager position.
  22. Whilst I have no access to the facts and figures to back this up, I suspect that the overall amount staked on our next manager (across all bookies that have the market open) will only be a 3 figure sum. Fans will throw a token amount at a name, but it is not a market that will attract large sums. The moment a bookie takes a large sum on one person in a market with such little going through it, then they will close the market quickly.
  23. The book that is open for the next Motherwell manager will not have that much going through it. It means that small amounts on the same person can crash the odds. Wouldn't ever read too much into it.
  24. Looking at this match as pretty much a free hit. Zero expectation and anything gained is a good point gained. Heading up for it and doing an overnight. I have a feeling that the time between 3pm-4:45pm will be the worst part of my weekend...
