  1. Looks like it can be done cheaper when booking singles. Should be a good day!
  2. We are going via Carlisle but coming in at around £28 return. Price previously was around £18 but jumped up a touch. Going on the 7:52am to Carlisle. Will have breakfast and a few pints before heading over to Annan. 6:13pm out of Annan on the way back, changing at Carlisle. Get back into Motherwell at 8:15pm.
  3. Still waiting for news on the Annan tickets on 23/07. Train tickets booked. Ticket scramble
  4. A Bolton fan mentioned to me last night that a striker called Rob Hall that they have just released is heading our way. Unsure how accurate.
  5. Would be surprised if Pearson moves over to India again. The setup in the league over there is a shambles. They have the Super League and the I League. They are completely separate, with the standard in both poor at best. They say that it actually harms the development of football in India. Only thing that might entice him is the short term financial gain, which would be more than what we will be paying him. Then again, would be want to disturb family life for a 3 month trip to India? Josh Walker (former 'Boro and Aberdeen player) was classed as a star player for an I League side a year or so ago. He was worse than awful.
  6. Minimum 9 points here. Annan away is going to be a cracking day out. Looking forward to it. Won't make Stranraer away as I am getting married that day.
  7. Squad sizes are important here. Can't really comment on St Mirren/St Johnstone being frugal with wages until you have that additional information.
  8. Just seen the STV link. Good estimate from myself!
  9. For a Premiership player at a club like ours I reckon around the £1.2k a week. No real logic in that but would expect most would be earning roughly £65k a year.
  10. Points/Goal Difference/Goal Scored
  11. None of them will be signing with us.
  12. He was the best player on the park against us a couple of months ago.
  13. He might not be around much longer...
  14. I just can't get excited about running onto a football pitch.

    Safe Standing

Similar performance around 3:20pm on Saturday from the hooligan.
  16. 'Flow gave some rationale on Twitter. There are going to be more category 1 matches at Fir Park next season. Also want is to remain as competitive as possible. Saying that, if you miss 2+ games then the season ticket isn't wonderful value.
  17. They scrapped the plans for the "new town" at the end of last summer. Not heard much since. I do think we will move at some point in the future. The cost of maintaining Fir Park must be increasing each year.
  18. You do appear to have a thing about big physical players...
  19. I heard the golf day got cancelled due to lack of interest, with the anniversary meal heading a similar way. Continually punting out the same type of events every other year isnt going to strike up much interest. Not seen much advertising around the events either. Big failure on the person responsible for that area of the business...
  20. Motherwell veterans Keith Lasley, Stevie Hammell, Stephen McManus and Scott McDonald will be offered new contracts at Fir Park, while James McFadden will be given the change to prove his fitness.(The Herald)
  21. He has played less than a dozen matches this season for Fulham, however I remember reading that he had been injured at one point. Not played since the middle of Jan 2016. Would be surprised to see him leave Fulham for a top end League 1 side. Also wouldnt be shocked if Aberdeen/Hearts/Rangers were sniffing about him...
  22. He had a shocker at the weekend against Aberdeen. He was well thought of by the Accies fans a few years ago but think he has regressed since they have played him at centre half, rather than right back.
  23. He would be the best player at our club! McGovern would be fantastic, however he is moving onto bigger than us. I don't expect a huge turnover this summer. I expect the likes of Moore, Clarkson and Fletcher to move on, with possibly one coming in to replace them. Samson will be re-signed and given the number 1 slot, with a youth being back up. Expect Hammell, McManus and Lasley all to sign on for another season (possibly 2 for McManus), with the rest staying put unless a decent offer comes in for them. With the noises around budgets for next season, I would expect a reduction in our 1st team squad, with the numbers being made up with youth.
  24. To be fair, there is a nice little Thai (Thai Four Two) on Rochester High Street. The places to eat around the Gillingham Business Park are nothing short of awful!
