    Top Six The Facts

    Ross County don't do draws!
  2. Wont make it to this one as I am off for my stag do. Have a strange feeling that we are going to win this. No doubt the optimisim will continue to grow over the weekend, as the beer flows.
  3. You have my sympathy. I work down that neck of the woods every few weeks and Medway is a terrible place! Whilst no-body outside of Celtic would compete at the top end of the Championship, I reckon we would hold our own around the middle of League 1. The standard really isnt as good as some would have you believe...
  4. Where you watching the game? I look at these games as a free shot. Anything is a bonus, with the hard work already done against Aberdeen and ICT. Same team as Saturday.

    Inverness Motm

Can I vote for the ICT number 28? He was excellent yesterday and caused us all sorts of problems. Going for McManus myself. He held together the defence well, with a number of excellent challenges.

Madness that this is even a discussion point considering where we were about 7/8 weeks ago. For me, it still feels very unlikely but the momentum is with us as the form team in the league. Not going to get excited (I've no chance of being there anyway as I get married in the summer and go straight off on honeymoon) but like Lobey, I think we will need minimum 3 wins post split to secure it.
  7. Thought it was a poor match, with only one team actually looking as it they were going to win it, with us looking like we were playing for a draw from early on. Out with the two goals, we had one or two other half chances and that was about it. The ICT keeper made a complete mess of the opener and it was a breakaway for the winner. ICT never created too much themselves but did have a bit of pressure, especially at the end. Thought Lasley had a shocker yesterday and would have taken him off instead of Gomis myself. Thought McManus was solid at the back and won everything in the air with Kennedy. Kennedy looks solid in the air but a bit of a bomb scare and will be good for a few bloopers a season. Thought the ICT number 28 (Mutombo??) was the best player on the park but a mile. Caused us lots of problems. 5/5 for McGhee and top 6 all but confirmed! His win record is better than it was in his last spell!
  8. Reynolds and Robson for me!
  9. Tagliapietra is fit according to the report I read yesterday. A right bastard at set pieces!
  10. Our performances at NDP in recent times have been a disgrace. The performance under Barraclough at the start of the season was shocking but in line with what has recently been served up. The pitch doesnt suit us but we have managed results down at Rugby Park. As much as I would love 3 points, I would settle for a point. Only good thing is a day out!
  11. It wasnt a great match but it was a good 3 points. Outside of the goals, I don't remember too many clear cut chances. McDonald was the best player on the park and the through ball for the 2nd was superb. We need him to perform at that level more consistently.
  12. Struggling to select anyone if I'm honest. Best player on the park was the St Johnstone centre half. Strolled through the match.
  13. As a shareholder? Half a dozen shares on you're on the board?
  14. With the money they are spending at the moment, you can ask them to add an extra £600k to it.
  15. Angol (Currently at Kidderminster) went on trial with Hamburg recently. http://www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk/sport/harriers/14217213.Harriers_defender_interesting_German_giants/
  16. We received the same warning a handful of times. We were given a couple of different reasons: - Someone had complained at the Accies match after arguing with someone standing behind them. - People in the back row were complaining because people were dropping bits of pie/drinks on them. Think there might have been another. I am going to bet that it lasts about 2 matches.
  17. I see Moore has extended his loan with Ayr until the end of the season, when his contract expires. Reckon we wont see him in a 'Well shirt again.
  18. 3 zip and nice and easily through to the next round. Rest a few players and give some of the fringe players a game.
  19. Skippy for me. He was outstanding again and is looking in excellent condition. Special mention to Robinson who is one of the worst players ever to pull on a 'Well shirt. Comedy player!
  20. Pop out against Cove. I'll send you the tickets in advance that are to be pulled out. Sortit!
  21. I think you might be onto something here Steelboy. I think we should have an independent adjudicator signed up to deal with these draws. We can avoid doing the above when people stop being a bellend. Unlikely so let's go with the above...
  22. This makes me so happy! My gut feeling is the announcer had the 3 winning tickets in his pocket. Another example of people milking the club from the inside...
  23. Hearing that Ainsworth is off to Scunthorpe. Reason why he wasn't in the XI today. Disappointing as he has a lot to offer.
  24. The pitched still looked in good condition come the final whistle last night. Good sign ahead of Saturday. Quite confident going into this one. We really should rip them to pieces with our pace and movement.
