  1. Can't help feeling that Lennon's behaviour earlier this season has permeated into the sub-concious of our officials. The referee was inconsistent at best and inept at worst. The linesman had no hesitation on penalty and referee followed his advice. After watching the replays I can't see any problem with the award. I put the lack of advantage when Humphrey was on a potential one-on-one due to the fact the referee may have perceived their was a head injury (which results in an immediate cease of play). It doesn't bother me so much as he would have probably squandered the break anyway.
  2. He certainly seems to have his finger on the pulse of most Motherwell fans. That last email addressed many of the criticisms levelled on here of our media. His stock keeps going up in my opinion.

Everyone should take a bow, I loved bouncing up and down to "I just can't get enough" after the penalty went in. Lasley for me, added responsibility of being captain, solid tackling and outstanding performance. DId he win the penalty too? Hutch close second jointly with Sutton. Referee atrocious, 6 yellows vs 1 for them, shocking performance.
  4. Positive news for me involves our former manager contracting an STD from an Aberdeen docks 2 bob hooker. Jim Gannon being swung at will suffice in the meantime.
  5. I went to school with him, we should feel lucky the grunts stayed on.
  6. The government really should look at minimum pricing for alcohol. However, the point is well made.

As I understand it, the SFA blocked it be taking FIFA's laws to the letter. The FA down south are a little bit more relaxed.

Gunning not at fault for being switched from left to right back, where he did dip. Hutchison looks like we've bought a £500,000 player in the window, again for me MotM, however mouse was hovering over "Null Vote"
  9. Not interested in going, just wonder what the door policy was. When was the last time there were shares on offer?
  10. You get a compliment and that's how you repay it ..... Limmy's show is 10x funnier than you.
  11. See when you come on here, cracking funny one liners, are you trying to get a job writing for Tam? If you do get a gig, I hope the BBC give you the money that Limmy joker currently getting.
  12. Is it by invitation only (i.e. holding shares) or can anyone attend?

Jones - Offers good balance up front, we were relying too much via Humphrey and were quickly being sussed out by our opponents. For a 34 year old he 'aint half nippy. Gunning - Strong and tall, likes to get forward, impressive. I'd like to know if he could play left mid with Hammell sitting behind or vice-versa, whoever doesn't go forward drops into left back for cover. Jeffers - You could see on Saturday he does have that extra "1 second" and killer first touch.

    Hamilton

Hutch for me, solid and growing into the role game by game. Praise to Craigan too, I didn't notice any of mistakes cited by Big Stall. Jenno and Lasley excellent in midfield. Merit in the argument they were woeful in attack so it makes it easier for the defenders to cope. Only issue for me is, for someone who wasn't there, seeing that we won only 1-0 with a penalty doesn't show how much better we were and how Hamilton are on borrowed time in the SPL. I hope Billy Reid gets a P45 soon, I'd hate to pay to watch that style of play every week.
  15. "They see themselves as the bigger club in Lanarkshire too, but we have acquitted ourselves fairly well in both games" Billy Reid, BBC Website Firstly, only Stevie Wonder may question if Accies were a bigger club, maybe its the fan base, years in the top flight, wage bill, turnover, ground capacity, 11 european football ties or average attendance that gives us that status you muppet. If you mean stifiling, negative, durge tactics by "acquitted" then you're a fud.
  16. Regardless of being legal or not, odds are the officials would get it wrong whatever was correct.
  17. It would sense to look at him. With Jones age and his return to Walsall in the summer, it seems a natural choice. McCall has definitely seen the team benefits from balance on the wings, rather than relying on the right.
  18. McCall sent out an email after the Rangers game. Sometimes when you start typing a reply to a post, someone (such as yourself) gets in ahead and then interprets the comments related to their own post.
  19. Interesting change in tone from the Rangers one. Did he leave his laptop on the train and a member of the young team got a hold of it?
  20. If the ball is played forward, I agree, if its squared or played backwards then its all good.
  21. Don't know Humphrey can be offside when Stevie Smith is on the line. Once he rounded Langfield, got his balance again and in a position to pass, Humphrey was well onside.
  22. I'm at a loss, the 4" x 3" video makes it hard to full see things, but Lasley's challenge does look very dodgy. May look better from another angle but with only one camera there ...... If Jamie had squared it to Humphrey then it would be so much sweeter.
  23. Just watched the BBC Scotland lunchtime news there, anyone else notice the awkward man hug between Craggs and Hammell at the end?
  24. The fact the team bottom of the league by a quite a way in terms of points and style of negative football has 4 points to our 1 this season should be motivation enough. Secondly, I doff my cap to those who traveled to Aberdeen last night.

    Aberdeen

Never thought I'd see: Ross Forbes 100% Even if its only for a few hours, especially after some of the unfair criticism on here in the past.
