Look let me make it clear, I hope he improves more than anyone else, to suggest the quality of the crossing which is a major part of his game is lacking in my opinion. I was chuffed to hear he played a blinder at Rugby Park in January, lets some more of those Chris. I didn't think there were 4-5 quality crosses in the Breidbeik game, I do remember 4-5 going behind for by-kicks. I also think he tends to cross loopy balls rather than curling whippy efforts that make defenders panic. For me, being a professional footballer means you act and think like one. The main part of his game is pace (won the genetic lottery) and crossing. Sometimes you need to have the presence of mind to look up and cross the ball not to an area in the hope someone is there, but to see where your support is and cross the ball accordingly. For me, he doesn't have the presence of mind to look up, a ball into a danger area with no strikers nearby is as good as putting it out. I'd agree with Finlay in I haven't seen much improvement in 12 months, however to be fair to him it was hard for him to break into a regular starting position in the 2nd half of last season when we started the run.

He needs to start acting like a first team player before the management make him feel like one.

Bunch of stalkers

I wasn't commenting on Forbes endeavour, just his crossing and using that as a comparison with Humphrey. I agree he has lead in his boots and doesn't appear to try as hard as he could.

I predict he'll never wear the Claret & Amber

I'll throw my hat into the ring here and say that along with giving the guy a chance I also think that as a nippy winger the major part of his game should be crossing the ball either at pace or from dead. This is the thing he should be working at in training as I think his delivery in pace, area and danger is sadly lacking so far. In the Breidblik game at home almost all of Forbes crosses put the defence under pressure, Humphrey's put the ball boys under pressure. I don't understand why he can whip in curling crosses into the penalty area, David Beckham made a career out of it. Don't confuses pace with work effort/ethic.

And due to the astute people at the top of the club, he's safely ours until summer 2013. Jackpot repeater

Either that or we've all stumbled into one guys wet dream

Bet you're glad the ASBO's are being abolished. The level of man-love you have for this guy is going to get the Laslerazzi well peeved. Lets hope he's never in Hype at the same time you are lurking about in the shadows with your Rohypnol. I'm sure he has no desire to find some wired on redbull Well fan anywhere near his "huevos". I'd prefer to see what he does in Claret & Amber (opposed to some Belgian 3rd division outfit or Stockport County for one game) if he even gets the nod from two guys with over 50 years experience in the game than just on what he promises because he has an exotic sounding name.

All interesting and I apologise for putting the onus on you to compose such a lengthy email at 12:30am. If nothing else I think I may have created a monster on here in the days ahead by posing such a question and you answering it. In answer to your points: 1) I think for what is on offer at present the current prices are unfair. So I agree, however as you point out it needs everyone in the league to buy into it. 2) I started a thread on summer football so as you can imagine I support it wholeheartedly too. As far as summers with Euro or WC finals then the league ends a bit later, simple. At the finals stages the Scottish players playing in the SPL are halfway through their season and still fresh and not burned out - bonus. Qualifiers generally take place between March to November so schedule the San Marino's and Andorra's at these times. 3) I like the idea of regional league cup groups (Us, Accies, Scumtown, Albion Rovers, Clyde) or a UK wide one (easier to envisage when Coca-Cola sponsored both). I'd rather play Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs and Dundee Utd 4x a season than the top six in the 1st Division twice. 4) Media, hard to do when they spend so much time at Lennoxtown and Murray Park getting their bacon rolls and non-stories. Scandal and Ridicule sells, support and positivity doesn't. Like those old men in suits at the SFA I think the journo's are a certain breed who will oppose change, despite the greater good or higher ideals. 5) Goes without saying, best atmosphere I've ever had was at standing grounds or seating ones where everyone was standing. 6) Not sure about the booze as there is always one eejit. I'd like to see it possible to gain access to the Cooper from the East stand, stick a steel lintel in the side of the stand and cut through to the corridor underneath. Would allow majority of support the chance to visit shop and bar during the game, would think it would be relatively cheap to achieve. Your other ideas are utopic in principal, they get my vote however too many greedy footballers/agents and chairmen out there. Only other thing I'd add is I feel the big sign at the foot of Motherwell at the entrance to Strathclyde Park advertising some tribute band or amateur dramatic show is a major opportunity to advertise the product and forthcoming games. Maybe approach NLC and suggest updating it with a screen (vandal proof) so info can be changed easily and without significant cost. It can go between community info, MFC info and Fire prevention stuff for example. You can buy 12x 42" TV's for £350 each just now, just set them up and link them IT guru style. Most Wishaw (pop. 35,000) and Motherwell (pop. 30,000) traffic goes through these lights at least once a week. As the bring a friend for free deal last season against Falkirk showed not many people knew about it.

Duke updated to show his move to Coventry along with Darren Smith. Jim Gannon Mem updated and some named and shamed.

Finding myself nodding at a few of your posts Flow, just out of interest and in a personal capacity rather than an official MFC one would you like see implemented to combat the declining numbers. I'm guessing you've probably been exposed to initiatives pursued by other clubs along with general feeling among our footballing top tier administrations.

Bugger it, I hope in the years to come when more info becomes available that the Cardiff City money didn't cost us his signature.

On the suggestion Porter was on his way back, I'd suggest the other two are Iain St. John and Willie Pettigrew based on that level of plausibility

Ahh OK Alright folks, if any of you want to take a punt on Thursday, try going to the pub in Motherwell that has a dish rivalling this:
-
Don't know why not, many are willing to share how to get live streams via websites such as p2p4u and justin.tv don't see why certain pubs with massive satellite dishes can't be mentioned.

I kinda wish Tromso won the cup as it seems a little easier to get to.

Sounds like Australia but colder and a penchant for putrefied whale meat.

........ of his love spuds from groin Vinnie Jones style at any corner, no issue! No need for emergency signings, just a bit of old fashioned snidieness and grit. I reckon Jennings would relish that task.

It gets even better, no need to fear them at all

I know its says Swedish but its all the same thing. The music is very clever.

BBC 'Well fans interviews Does anyone know the last guy getting interviewed and can shed any light why he seems to keep on being drawn to the interviewers crotch? Got to love the one word answers too. However he's on his way to the land of penguin killers and I'm not so fair play to him.
