My bad, forgot about the away fixture, I was referring to the mideweek one at FP, apologies.

From what I understand, the defeat in Inverness was woeful, however the only appalling thing about the Killie game is they scored from their 1 attack after we camped in their half completely unjust and against the run of play. I'd suggest were you at the game caller, but I know you weren't. Can't believe some of the doom and gloom on here. 3 Europa's in a row, 2 top 6's, Cup Final and diddy cup semi, every other team in the league cutting their cloth, our budget maintained, manager performing above average in transfer market so far, team maturing together and healthy bank balance. I know its a Scottish trait to tend towards pessimism, but come on tae fuck.

Miller Wiki Scunthrope on Loan recently, however still on Middlesbrough's books.

O'Hanlon and O'Conner in, Riordan out of contract and pricing himself out of a move, and 10 players released combined with 5 losses and 1 draw in their post split matches ..... relegation fodder ..... no danger.
-
I'd like to think when almost everyone else is cutting budgets and we're maintaining ours, combined with the impressive start McCall has made and the general standard of the players he's brought in, we should at least improve on our finish this year. Teams like Dundee Utd have already lost their best players with no sign or funds available for like-for-like replacements. Only issue for me is shipping goals in certain games, losing by 1 or 2 to the old firm is never welcomed but at least its palatable, certainly more so than conceding 4-5. If we can build on what we did last year with a largely unchanged starting line up then I'm pretty confident.

Why are Hibs featuring so highly on most predictions? Do people think Calderwood has turned the corner with them?
-
See the aliens returned you back and left the anal probe in place. I answered the question here, so not netural grounds you smartarse stroker. To reiterate, 3 teams who play at home on the first bank holiday (Dundee Utd, ICT and Dunfermline), also play at home on the second, therefore ensuring bumper crowds, mainly because an extra fixture date on the 28th has been created because Rangers and Celtic employees and fans can't behave themselves.

Wouldn't argue with any of that. I envisage a Cup final for us next year.
-
It would appear so, however lets not ignore the draw and influence of a former manager (everyone remember Nick Blackman?). If he came here he'd probably be a starter, for me its a better prospect that joining a team like Blackpool and struggling to break into the team. With the TV exposure and if lives up to his promise he could get a big move next season, just means we'd have to pay bumper wages if we did get him on another cross border. Not 100% on his current contract status though.

Prepare to be merged With respect to Law, I'm guessing he's out of contract? His Wikipedia page is well out of date. However according to this: Nicky Law - Rotherham Website He was in the Division 2 team of the season. Promising for a 23 year old. Passing resemblance to Hammell, however we can't hire him, his name ain't Steve

Would be cheaper to hire a ferry to transport the howkers one way to the Emerald Isle and the currants to Holland or wherever else they fancy. Am I going to jail now? Long and short, this has been stirred up by senior cops wanting to ensure budgets in times of austerity, politicians have danced to their tune. Best open up Hampden to a universal rammy (pitched on their forums as "if you don't show up, you're a poof") and let them all kill each other, job solved. The rest of us can live in the 21st century and worry about the standard of our kids schooling rather than the schools name or affiliation.

Bugger me, something you've written I agree with, never thought I'd see the day. Who are you and what have you done with theLip?

no chance, no sing-sing for him all he got was "the register" for 2 years and a £4k fine he's paying back on tic. Thing is he actually knew they were weans, they weren't pretending to be older. If Jeffries thought he was a 50-50 player then he would have been punted, because he's got promise and ability he gets to stay ..... everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others.

To satisfy our selling nature, we need to bring in/through 2-3 youngsters/starlets a season. Nobody has really stepped up from the U-19's other than Carswell, Devlin is a fair bit off the first team and definitely one for the future, however its still early in the recruitment process.
-
Home 24th, Away 28th, Home 2nd or vice-versa only St. Mirren and Hibs get two homes in a row over this period and therefore have one bank holiday game at home and one away.
-
Happy as Larry, Favourable start to the campaign, 9-10 points from the first four games is definitely achievable. Always going to be away on the game nearest Christmas, couldn't think of a better venue in the SPL than Tynecastle though. The only oversight is by putting in a midweek card on the 28th, as Brazilian says, both festive fixtures are away. To be fair that is the case for most of the teams.

Imagine you are a big fat fuck, with a fat wife who also likes the football and have 4 kids between you? You own a building company so are always going round to HSS to spend £4k annually, that's 2k all in, ignoring take aways and getting your hair cut. The jokes are water off a ducks back, you're £2k up and no more shagging as you've got 4 weans already.

We should have run a sweep, 50% going to the site. Maybe next year.

If you go about your normal day to day life then you could potentially eat into your £300 investment by using the ancillary benefits at outlets where you would normally go and spend, eg: Over the course of an average month NL Leisure Membership (£5.50) McDonalds (£1) KFC (£1) Indian (£4) Pizza Hut (£5) Effectively that is for two adults (as you wouldn't tend to go to a local sit-down restaurant alone) and it's already over £15 = free football 2011-12. Add in the savings if you have a family and you actually make money having a season ticket

Surprises me how Humph hasn't adopted the Johnny Gaughan song, obviously needs an addition of "y" to his first name for it to work.
-
If we get one person thinking that I'll be surprised. The entry level membership uptake will come from a portion of the 3,000 core support MFC has, who have either have the cash, inclination or see benefit in the added extras.

We don't agree because I'm always right and you're generally wrong
-
Fair enough, but Everton giving us Ruddy and Lukas paid dividends for them in terms of what they brought in. That precedent has to be worth something. Don't underestimate the TV exposure the SPL get compared to the English lower leagues and the chance to showcase your wares.

Where's the Commsworld logo?

You save £5.50 per month with NL Leisure membership.
