That particular method worked for a certain Mr Lawwell from the East End of Glasgow in the past few months.

See what Flow did? He's turned into Cilla. essentially it was "Hi Robbie, we're full of scousers up here, you'll feel right at home."

I would figure the 20,000 figure was for championship season 2010-11 as there wouldn't be any totals for next years premiership tickets as the sale is ongoing. Don't let common sense get in the way of your madman ramblings.

Good effort, Wonder how many takes it took to hit the guy on the vespa?
-
Yeah, we need to distinguish between that and our amusement arcades, pound shops and boarded up units.
-
Naturally, wouldn't mind mimicking our league position too.

5th Avenue and Times Square or Brandon Parade South and the Cross ..... tough one that

I wouldn't mind seeing us wear black socks with a claret & amber turn downs as we did in the 30's for one season.

And me .... wrong, wrong, wrong. Takes being on the Atkins Diet to a whole new level.

I don't think its strong enough to compete for 3rd place, being realistic, that's what were aiming for in a best case scenario.

Love the Admiral effort. Also, if striped socks are opted for on any strip I prefer at least 2 inch bands.

Nail on the head, same with Diggle's. That for me is the problem with our last 10 games of the season (leaky defence aside), can't remember how many times I got frustrated at Humphrey standing on the halfway line, back to goal, taking a touch and then hitting it by his man to chase. An insightful slide-rule pass into a gap for him or Murphy would pay dividends. In Humphrey's defence, you don't know if he's been instructed to do that.

I like Hughes and wouldn't say no because he was party to one of the best footballing periods in the clubs history, but surely if we could get Forbes to recreate what he showed 2 years ago then we'd save ourselves a lot of money. Getting his stamina, confidence and work ethic up would pay major dividends. A midfield comprising of an uninjured Lasley and Forbes (c.2009) would provide plenty of ammo and creativity for our forward line.

Good team to bring, will certainly swell the gate receipts more so than many other teams. Plus a lot of affinity in Motherwell for LUFC.

The same could be and was levelled at our current manager before he took the helm. Sometimes people in football need a new challenge or a fresh start to reinvigorate their game. This sport is littered with those who were perceived as failing in one place and went elsewhere and were a sensation.

Hughes was in the Moorings for lunch today, sat behind me. Based on everything, a central Scottish club would be right up his street. Unlikely now he'd move for a money transfer in 1-2 years time so we're unlikely to make anything out of him, so its all about his weekly wage I reckon.

From what we already have/may have overlooked: Keep in mind Carswell broke through from the U-19's this year, based on that you would hope for his development that he may get a few more this season. Not seen enough of him to distinguish what sort of midfielder he is (creator, battler, workhorse, etc). Page was our 5th highest scorer on the BBC table until Hateley scored against Hearts in the 3-3 game. In late August I thought he would figure in 20+ games last season. Would like to see him give McCall a few headaches if he can get into the mix. Humphrey should be slotting away 7-8 a season, that's what I'd hope for next year.

Positive couple of days. For me, I'd love to see: * Jenno extend * Another striker .... Grella? * Creative midfielder * Someone to compliment and bring on Hutch resulting in our GD not being -20 next season If budgets allow, I'd also like: * A left winger to allow Murphy to move more central if the game demands it * A young box to box midfielder with pace * Cover for Hammell and Craigan (if he stays) .... Gunning fits that bill surely In an ideal world: * Hateley to play like he did for the first six months he was here as a defensive midfielder * Saunders to make RB his own * Hammell to find someone ahead of him at LM who does 1-2's telepathically * Lasley to stay injury free all season * Murphy's trough to be as short as possible * Humphrey to improve by the same margin he did this year and tie down crossing the ball like Beckham * Higdon to establish where all the divots for lucky bounces are * Randy to pull all the Rockettes ... on the same night * Delvin to make one or two first team starts

Jenno and Jeffers got on like a house on fire due to the Liverpool connection, with Franny off, maybe Higdon will be a factor in another contract extension. Good signing, in terms of age, physical attributes and scoring record. More of the same thanks.

I don't take any account of anything you write on here since reading your drivel around the time of the Celtic Remembrance Day protest.

Hutchinson extension

"Why Aye Man" Expect a contract extension for an integral member of our defence .... announcement in about 20 mins.

Based on the list, I'd go for Butcher, he presided over a fair string of results, league places and cup appearances and all under the spectre of impending doom and selling his primary assets. McGhee showed what you can achieve if you make the players treat their privileged jobs (well, as close as you can get for a modern British footballer) to a 9-5. Instilling professionalism and a high work ethic ultimately paid rewards. The whole O'Donnell/Scotland job/"I'm not applying" thing still leaves his tenure for me under a cloud, especially when you combine it with the nature of his exist and subsequent press interviews.

BBC Sport News Story Seems to be a lot of sense in this. As he points out the OF have to get out of this EPL/Championship/Atlantic league nonsense that surfaces on a 2 year cycle. It's not going to happen for political and regulatory reasons. Best to get on with what you have here at home and make the best of it. A league divvied up every year primarily due to the performances in the four OF games it pointless and ultimately will result in their own fans turning off in the way that everyone elses does.

Manchester Utd took that approach with Rooney new contract .... or that's what he told Coleen.
