When our wing backs are Kerr and ZFA, you' ve really got to fear the worse. I know Ainsworth would be a gamble to track back, but our attacking threat was non-existent first half and yet no changes until far too late
I see the average age of our reserve team tonite was 17.4 ! Although lost 2-1 to a more experienced team, it seems they were unlucky to lose and showed up well . Maybe not all doom and gloom
As I said on another thread, the football in the Dundee v Aberdeen game was very poor. If Dundee play anything like that and we can regain some form then we can win this and hopefully gain some confidence.
I'm fed up of all this talk about injuries increasing since John Porteous left. It may be co-incidence and you can only suggest otherwise if there is proof that this part of the club has suffered.
Fat tony - Vigurs does not cover for Kerr (who has ventured forward )for the first goal and so the winger gets a free run. Vigurs nearly gets back , but it's his initial awareness that's the problem I reckon
Watching the Dundee v sheep game just now on Alba. Very scrappy and passing poor. I may be clutching at straws but McCall may have a point when he says ' not much between the rest of the teams'
I don't feel half as bad after that defeat than the ICT one or even our win v St Mirren. Looked a lot sharper and hungrier. Ainsworth was beginning to look like the player from last season and even Lasley was half decent. Ojaama will need a few more games to get up to speed and then Sutty will bang in the goals. Keep the faith
Sounds like 'Mr angry' , shouting 'break his fuckin arm' to derek ferguson when all around were thinking a leg would be better! Also remember him slamming a few seats in despair , Killie away springs to mind
My thoughts exactly. Don't think his heart was in it 2nd time around. Was harder to take as wee Tommy once said he was the best prospect he had at club
A bit off topic but read that Nairn County had signed ex Well player Halsman ( Gannon gave him debut v Celtic away) Thought his name was Jordan but record said Bradley :s
Hope the news adds a few more to the attendance on Sat. I was in two minds whether to go due to cost, but even if Ojaama doesn't get clearance to play , I'm defo going now as I think it has given everyone a lift
Exactly. We've been far more successful than Utd in recent seasons, yet crowds have been disappointing . I suppose a few exciting young players helps explain it in part, but don't know what else we can do
Attendance over 8000. That's almost double what we would get for such a game midweek. Might explain why Utd can afford to get a better standard of player in than ourselves
I dont see what all this amateurish talk is about. How can we make a contingency plan for being papped out of Europe...'well we might be able to play you on sat 3/8 but cant say until the week before!'
