  1. So have I but this is a different scenario. Yes we are the big team but this is a chance to beat Rangers in any shape or form and put years of suffering to end. We have competed well in europe and sit top of the spl so no reason to fear
  2. We should be abe to beat that lot with any of our first team squad. But agreed bring Ramsden back if fit . bring on daley for last 10 mins to take the piss
  3. With the man u game being on at the same time, is there any chance of a pub in hamilton showing the well game. Or just electric and JDs do you think ?
  4. Haha I live in Larky and didn't know there was a 'Well pub! Rarely drink in Larkhall and only been in the Tavern and Curly's I don't go to enough away games to make it a goer for me, but best of luck. There are way more than 60 well fans in Larky, around half a dozen in my street that I know of!
  5. I think you're changing your mind over this one Finlay.
  6. Claretwelly, link to supporters asoc. buses http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/fanzone/supporters-clubs/
  7. Bobby Jenks told Jaffa that Faddy wasnae signing ( on the Ryanair flight back from Alicante! ). Think Bobby must have spent the week out there after spying on Levante.........either that or we're skint
  8. Must admit, I liked Andy Gray's commentary back then. And McCoist's co-commentary on the cup final was good too - he was that excited it was like one of us commentating ( almost!) .......in fact, didn't he coin the phrase '' as brave as a lion'' when Phil headed his goal?
  9. I take it you've tried alanmfc's bus - see thread on this site. If not, contact the supporters associations; think they are pinned here.
  10. ''There he is in splendid isolation''. Used on several occasions by Jock Brown as Joe Carson for one was left unmarked to score with a header.
  11. Main memory of Brian Wright was scoring a pen V Celtic at Hampden (same game that Softy hit the bar) and giving it ' the Higdon' to the smellic fans.
  12. '' You won't see many free kicks hit much harder than that'' Andy Gray (Iain Ferguson for Well v celtic semi 91). Poor grammar, but all the better for it!
  13. Always had a soft spot for Johnny Gahagan, since watching a compilation of Well games showed him jumping up and down celebrating another goal.........usually behind the goals as a sub! Always stuck in my mind as it showed how much it meant to him even when he wasn't playing.
  14. Motherwell, everyone's 2nd favourite team! Aye for a day, then they'll hate us again
  15. That will be my mates . I was in the POD today, honest guv.
  16. Kerr had another brilliant game today and Hateley should be seriously worried about his place at RB. Good to see Page getting another full game, although had a difficult time against Richie I thought (no shame in that). Same applies to Boab - I'm sure a run in the team would see both their performances improve although Hutch/Ramsden and Ojamma will probably get the shout for their positions. Even Higdon had a good game
  17. Ha ha voted Fraser Kerr and saw 100% agreed but there's only me voted! Randolph was class too.
  18. not that many more at Glasgow See you on the other side!
  19. Due to fly out around 9 this morning from glasgow.Mines a lager
  20. Oh well that's made all the difference. We're going to pump them now!
  21. Law and Hateley are out?! I was more confident than the previous away leg, but will be changing my mind if that's the case
  22. I'm sure it is. Thank feck I booked earlier, although travelling back with Ryanair so no guarantees
  23. Having watched Atletico struggle to score despite 70% posession against them, I doubt it. Soooo hope I'm wrong
  24. Meeting up with the legend that is julianthelondoncabbie pre-match
