When I went back on their official site, it had disappeared.....all tickets snapped up? There was a cheaper option too, but can't mind the details.Found it - 520 euros for round trip on 23rd August.

On RENFE website, looks like first train departs at 7.18am and arrives in Alicante at 9.04am. Then 15-20 min taxi to airport........as tight as a duck's @rse. What about a bus! Departs 2am, arrives 4.30am! 3 of us booked . Flying easyjet Glasgow to Alicante Thurs am, back with Ryanair to Prestwick early Saturday. In the Aposenta del turia apartments in Valencia and a cheapo hotel in Alicante before the early rise for flight home. Approx £250 plus train to and from Alicante. Bring it on PS divorce proceedings imminent

Looks pricey to fly to Valencia (Levante) though,£250 from Manchester, no Scottish flights? Prague or Twente might be a better one if on a budget.
