Great idea! I've got a framed black and white photo of Gary McAllister celebrating scoring in the 1985(?) league cup semi at hampden v Celtic. It's the original one taken by the Motherwell times photographer.
Also used to have loads of scrapbooks from the 70s. They would bring back lots of memories for many of us; wonder where they are now?
Got the no. 13 training top 'cause it was the only XL i could find. Everyone else seemed to know the squad number they were after; then got home and found out Klimpl is no. 13- well chuffed . Also another Bukta and under armour top all for 15 quid.
Thank you Ale and MFC for a great idea!
I'm sure he appears in one the archive games that Yabba's got.
PS He was in the daily record's ''new home'' page a while back( see yer wife for details!). Remember Rab as a wee skinny guy that would get blown over by a gust of wind. But check him in that paper article, now a fat b@stard
4th in a group of five behind CSKA Moscow,Deportivo,Lech Poznan. Then Nancy and Feyenoord. Unlucky not to get through as had a 3-4 defeat to CSKA then pipped by the polish team for third place after the last game.
Aye, good night. Thought Tam was better than Johnny G to be honest; mibby it was just the 'well jokes that hit the right spot! Funny how there's no been many folk on saying ' Sounds like a good night, sorry I missed it' ... word must have got around
Great fun looking through them all the same. Cracking one of Klimpl sliding in on Driver of Hearts. Would make a good t-shirt methinks . He's only on loan.........
Aye,fair play to him.Read his comments in the papers regarding wanting to play for Ireland.Usually, when someone spouts off like that, they have a shocker. But his mind was 100% on today's game.
Also thought Mark Reynolds was outstanding today.
Not many contenders, although everyone stepped up their game in the 2nd half. Clarkson tried his best and showed a few good touches I thought. Sheridan looks like he'll do us a turn. But it's Jim O'Brien for me- always looking for the ball and put in a good shift.
We've had some right midfield hard men: Peter Millar, Ally Mauchlen, Neil Simpson, Colin O'Neill. Oh for someone like that right now. And I don't mean Big Boab
