Today was a disastrous day at the office. Sometimes you learn more in defeat than you do in winning . We're still work in progress and the league cup midweek endeavours do have an impact . Just ask Neil McConnell. We do need a couple of players in and I'm sure that'll be happening soon.

Probably the most disastrous 90 minutes motherwell have been involved in for many a year. Glad we've no midweek game as we'll need a full clear week to get this debacle out of our system

That's twice i've seen Rose. Pish both times. As for the game it was same old same old.

I remember him running with a clenched fist to the East Stand after scoring for Celtic against us. Feck him.

And it won't work cos he caught everything today. As for the game we win we move on. Another week of training and no injuries except maybe Hammell who went down with what looked like concussion. Hopefully he's OK.

He has had some injury problems mind you. So hopefully he's over them now. Couldn't bear another Zak Jules type defender.

From what im reading from Blackpool fans his surname should be Duffer. Jeeso . Worst defender ever etc.

I tend to agree that he's agreed to sign but contracted till end of the month. Happy with how things are progressing. Two central defenders please as i think McHugh would be good in midfield.

I'm OK about Lasley staying another year. He'll be a backup midfielder and do coaching duties. More worried about numpties like Bowman and Blyth getting rid of. Robinson is saying good things and I'm hopefull of a decent season coming up.

Delighted with both of these signings.

Best of luck to him and hope he finds a level of consistency that he couldn't find with us.

Despite losing 3 goals in 3 mins hope everyone says how magnificent Ben Hennegan is to keep his 500 grand transfer to Sevco alive. If he needs a driver by the way i'll gladly run him .

I watch Motherwell home and away and i honestly cant remember his last decent game for us before last night. No way should he get a new contract. Totally hides in most away games and there's a reason why we've been in a relegation battle. I wish him well but time to go.

A marvellous servant and captain. His time is up now unfortunately.

I'd persevere with Clay. As for Blyth and Bowman we could try the surplus to requirements mandate as we did with Laing. Can add a few others to that list.
