Im sure we'll come good we still have good players but this European adventure has been a nightmare to be honest so all in all im ok with a point today as i knew we'd be on a downer after thursday, but obviously a c--t of a time to lose a goal. We were CRAP today and Big Hutchie single handedly saved us from a pummeling. It could've been 4 or 5 easily today that's how bad we were. St.Mirren TOTALLY dominated from the 3rd to the 94th minute so to escape with only 1 goal conceded after them having about what seemed like 500 corners and 100 last ditch clearences was definately a point gained. So onwards and upwards.

Yep i was at that last game at Killie who were knackered after they'd been partying all week after winning the league cup and we we playing our most important game for months to get us that crucial euro slot..Cue a HORRENDOUS and VERY VERY comfortable 2-0 win for them. I see the same thing happening again on saturday so im giving it a miss and keeping my money for thursday.

Im actually happy with a point today. Motherwell teams in the past would've certainly lost this type of game. I think and have been saying for a while now that McHugh should get a run in the team and i still believe that we'll get goals once Humprey comes back. Daley's not good enough simple as that. On the plus side i thought big Hutchie and Ramsden did well and the young midfielder we brought on 2nd half [cant remember his name} Did ok too.It's early days and after a torrid time in Greece today was always going to be a bit flat. So a week's rest/training to get us focussed on Killie next sat.

How can Saunders be out for 6 months? Surely not.. He's not been back yet. If this is true i think his career must be in doubt.

I have and would never contact the bbc on any media to say anything about my club Finlay. That's one of the reasons i started this thread to highlight that any critisism rightly or wrongly should be done on here. I believe we have a right to our opinions but that guy Rae must be a rocket.

Couldn't believe the sportsbag in The Record today in which a Mr Rae from Wishaw slaughtered our efforts on tuesday. Especially Murphy and Lasley????Who got our mom at the game.I nearly choked on my cornflakes with the tirade he came out with which in my opinion is totally out of order for 2 reasons..1 His assessment of Lasley and Murphy is crap. They both played really well against top class opposition and 2 He shouldn't be slagging us off in the national press totally wrong... Im all for consructive critisism but i really wonder what game he was watching. I've got pelters at times on here from you guys for my opinions about certain players but i wouldn't DREAM of doing so in a national paper especially now at a time when we're trying to attract more people to our games. So Mr Rae hopefully you read this forum and i would be interested to read your posts on here in future rather than trying to cause contoversy with crap remarks to a paper.

Ojamma is a rough diamond but a diamond none the less. He's young and fiesty but with proper looking after and coaching im sure he'll be a cracking player for us. Murphy had a cracking game for us last night and i believe he'll get a move soon and earn us a few bob also. Hopefully McHugh can step in this season he looks ok with what i've seen of him so far.

Disagree with Steelboy about Ramsden i thought he did well and will be an asset for us in the SPL. As for last night we were great and only Humprey didn't turn up. Everyone else including Higdon{never thought i'd say that} did really well against a team who is way above anything we'll meet in the SPL. The fans were superb too. They always are mind you.

As longs as everyones fit then pre season has been absolutely fine. I've forgotten the Ayr Utd game. Bring on the Greeks!!!

According to Stuart McCall we've 3 defenders out Saunders and Page for weeks??? Hutchie still struggling for full fitness. If this is true it's a major blow for us.Our team this season is going to be VASTLY inexperienced with Murphy and Randolph surely being sold asap. We cant sign anyone except a journeyman 30 year old pal of McCall. Im depressed...

Im sure the Greeks can be acoomodated in the top tear of the South Stand. This is a marvellous draw for us by the way a big team with a big support and hopefully a decent payout for us. As for getting through the tie...Not a snowball in hell's chance.
