I remember a visit to Paisley not so long ago a tuesday night pissing rain. We got humped 3-0.Me n ma Mrs started arguing. So today was feckin brill. It's a shithole of a town i dont like Paisley one bit and to beat them like that is FAB! So my advice to all Well fans is do what im doing GETTING PISSED!

Fantastic winner!! . We could only sing WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED twice before the blundering and blatently crap Ian Brines blew for full time. When the ball hit the net i was watching Brines as he was so bad i was expecting a foul against Higdon for looking at the ball going in. . Yes a tremendous 3 points but dear oh dear our tactics in away games dont make for pleasant viewing. Humphries shouldn't play in away games as we should be 4-4-2 with Forbes aiding to the midfield instead of the Hump ambling up and down aimlessly for the full 90 minutes(how the feck he wasn't hooked is as big a mystery as area 51 to me) a man short the whole game. We need to work on Murphy and Higdon playing closer together as Higdon's knockdowns were running harmlessly away. On the positive wasn't Big Hutchie and Craigan superb and good performances from Hately,Law,Forbes and as usual Hammell. So all in all a lot to happy about and the wild celebrations from players and fans at the winner with remain with all who were there for a long while.

I noticed too he was straight off the park at the end too with no acknowledgement to the fans. He wasn't great but did ok in my opinion. Would i take Sutton back? ABSOLUTELY!
-
Feck what a sickener best wishes Steven Saunders.
-
Sad to see it closed tbh. I've been a member since 1990. Hopefully something else that has live bands can replace it and it was fab for a pint before and after games.
-
Cant believe people on here are slagging Lasley for a passback. He was tremendous on saturday and his pass to Law started the build up for our goal. Oh and a wee 25 yarder in our last home game wasn't bad either.
-
A marvellous win today but a bit of a bummer the excellent Keith Lasley getting red carded. I noticed Forbes wasnt on the bench today is he still in McCall's plans and can he step in for us next sat at Paisley? Thoughts please?
-
Although Saunders did well today i was a bit surprised to see him alongside Craigan. Is Hutchie injured or did he get dropped for a couple of dubious passes to Killie forwards last saturday.
-
Brill win today and although it was tough going at times i saw TREMENDOUS team spirit. A marvellous start to the season and long may it continue.
-
I really worry about this game if Higdon is out. I dont think McHugh or Smith are ready to play at SPL level. McHugh last week was making runs behind Killie defenders looked to me like he isn't quite confident enough. We need another striker in ASAP. Score tommorow Well 0 Hearts 3.

We simply CANNOT sell Murphy just now as apart from Higdon we dont have any other decent strikers.
-
A decent point away from home but by feck did we look ineffective up front. Murphy was totally alone and tried his best. Where the feck was Higdon? If he'd've been playing we would've won. Thought our football was pleasing on the eye at times but fizzled out once McHugh and the ever frustrating :dash2:Humphries got the ball. Hately's due for a wee spell on the bench too get young Saunders in and we need a striker and another central defender ASAP. Anyway i recall being at Rugby Park not so long ago a we lost an 88th minute goal so we didn't today although big Hutchie did his best to provide their forwards with plenty service. . 4 times he gifted passes he better stop that pronto.

It must be the sun but i think we'll win this 3-1.Going on saturday shorts Well top and sraw hat...

With all the transfer speculation surrounding Jamie Murphy i was wondering if he did go can these 2 boys do a job for us. Personally think McHugh what i've seen could do well. Smith who came on for 10 mins on saturday looks big and strong but haven't seen enough of him to know how he'll do. I dont watch the under 19's so how good are these boys? I know McCall has asked some of our younger players to step up to the plate this season i hope these 2 can break through would really help ease the inevitable pain of losing Murphy which i hope doesn't happen this season. Thoughts please folks?

A good day to be a Well fan i have to say. At the Ark in glorious sunshine watching 3 top notch goals (especially Lasley's screamer) some of our passing movements were as good as i've seen watch the first 2 goals folks. . The fans wre fab today also and it was great to get the 'wet squib' in May out of our system. Maybe im being a tad harsh in saying our defence was dodgy at times as Caley in my opinion missed 3 good chances but hey who cares onwards and upwards. The team spirit today was TREMENDOUS and even MJC must've been impressed.

Yep think we can forget Gunning. Not overly gutted tbh i think we can get another similar or better player on loan. I dont think he was a great defender.
-
Yes Brown seems to be going out of his way to either go after our players who are out of contract or anyone we are looking at.. He's a sad twisted old b----d.
-
Why do we need a left back? Stevie Hammell going somewhere i dont know about? We do need another central defender and a striker methinks.
-
A good open game with 3-2 to the Well. Be nice to see Higdon scoring. Roll on next sat.
-
Higdon's a cracking striker. Better than Sutton in my opinion. He'll be fine up front. We do need another striker and central defender in mind you.
-
The bus i was in for the cup final fecked off when 20 of us went for a piss. Can i get hospitality too for tommorrow Leanne?
-
Jeeso some of the posts on here?? . Just for the record. Pre season games are BOUNCE matchies to get players ready for the new season. The first REAL game is at home to Inv Caley and i cant wait for it to start again.
-
 . Anyway a good runout by the sound of things at Dumbarton and keeps pre-season ticking along nicely.

It's a no brainer for me. A move to a smart 9000 seater stadium is a MUST. Fir Park has had it's day and as for the pitch?
