Im sure if any Motherwell player was good enough for the national team they'd be in it. Sadly none are and im saying that as a Well and Scotland fan. . I think Hammell is a better full back than Wallace mind you but NONE of them are international class.

I can actually understand their frustration we were PISH beyond PISH on sunday and weren't capable of passing a ball 5 yards and another Motherwell NIL game in the 2nd of two massive games for us is indeed PISH..Hope i've made my point happy clappers. Im the first to praise us when we do well in games but really when the going gets tough we dont get going at all.

Come on Swansea gives us 400k and let us bring in a decent midfielder that can get forward. You know it makes sense. Im sure Reynolds would be happy in Wales too. .

Yes if we dont get a midfielder who can link up with the strikers this season is going to be long ball crap till May. Im keeping my fingers crossed we can get at least one player in this week. If not it's going to be a miserable season.

Yep today was grim. A shake up required. Hopefully get another midfielder and striker in (i wish) during the window. I'd drop Saunders too as he's not quite ready yet and i've said it before on these forums a million times REYNOLDS IS CRAP!!! My mate actually pointed out to me how crap his passing is too. Just back from the ticket ofiice there. Only a handfull of tickets for Cooper and East left. Had to get my 4 tickets for the South Stand. Been in it 3 times and still to see us win in there . Thursday will be a FAB night to alter that.

He's lost his way a wee bit but had potential at one point. If Craig and Archie think they can work with improve him and add something to us then im happy enough to have him on board.

Im going for a joint award this time Jennings and Randolph were both FAB.

Not a good game by any stretch of the imagination but some decent performances a clean sheet and 3 points away from home is fab. . Randolph's a cracking keeper. Jennings is neat and tidy and does the holding midfielder role really well. Reynolds and Hammell were solid at the back and im sure the Spaniard once he gets some games under his belt will do a good job for us. Have to say also the Well fans showed their class today with the sporting applause in the pre-match renaiming of one of their stands. All in all a good day at the office now BRING ON THE DANES!!! .

Normally im of the opinion all publicity is good. On this occasion however we shouldn't let that plonker NEAR Fir Park. His comments last season about us getting docked points were FECKIN OUTRAGEOUS!! . Tell him to sling his hook and his Old Firm- Edinburgh talk show as well. Stopped listening last season to his drivel.

Today's game is very important it's almost a must win as it would give us momentum going into thursday's showdown a defeat will deflate us and next up is Smeltic next sunday...4 defeats in a row is unthinkable. . So a win today is vital and i hope we take a good support down as it's a decent day maybe get some who wouldn't normally make the trip coming out to give us support. We had 800 in Denmark hopefully at least the same today for a 35min journey. . 2-1 for us is my prediction.

If reports fae Paw Broon are correct that the players we've been signing are as good if not better than what's already here then a wee rest for one or two isn't such a bad idea. Oh and a narrow win for the Well on sunday.

Yep judging by the reports from the fishal website we've done ok tonight and a priceless away goal definately gives us hope for the return leg in what should be a cracking atmosphere at the Ark in a week's time. Cant wait.. .

I thought we did ok today and unlucky to be beat. Our defence was all over the place 2nd half mind you and when does big Hutchie get a game? Im very dissapointed but still hopefull of a decent season if we sort that defence out. I also dont think we should be playing Jennings and Lasley in the same team as they're too similar in style. Still the pitch was getting praise and im sure Craig Brown will sort things out.

Mark Reynolds once again proved he wont be able to get a step up to where he wants to be based on his performance today. Positioning is hopeless at times and he made 3 HUGE errors that could've resulted in goals...1st half crumpled like a pack of cards to allow Nish in. 2 Weak clearance under no pressure that nearly let them in also 1st half. 2nd half weak passback which produced another fine save from our excellent keeper. On top of all that he's dragged all over the park as Riordan and Stokes have a field day in the 2nd half. Every time we're on the telly he's pants. If anyone gives us half a mill for him i'll be JUBILANT!!! I know this'll upset the happy clappy brigade but really when do we bring big Hutchie in i've had enough!!!

This thread's been utter gumf... . But have to say it's fab we've signed a striker. A few laps round Strathy Park and he'll be ready for the Hibs game.

I've just put on ma tin hat to get on this thread.. . Personally i think Humphry has bags of pace and raw talent . A good manager and coach that we've now got will bring out the best in him i think he'll have a fab season. Going back to my bunker now

Lasley did ok last night but was glad we changed things round a wee bit in the 2nd half which was all about containment and although not pleasing on the eye at times i thought every player did a great job. Defence was solid and Murphy well what can i say a smashing goal and a scoring assist and ran his ass off. A great night's work from him and our new keeper looks a good'un too. Delighted with the scoreline although have to say it flattered us a wee bit but who cares. . Let the Euro adventure continue....

Craig Brown's a shrewed operator. He's basically playing his cards close to his chest and telling prospective agents and players that we wont be held to ransom. Hearts and Aberdeen have been bitten a few times by outrageous wage demands and even Jimmy Bullard wanted 75 grand a week to play for the Tattiemunchers... . I've every confidence we'll get a couple of players in for the season starting but a glamour europa league tie and the sale of Reynolds will definately help us. Top 6 again for us im sure...

Im just off the phone to them they aint taking phone calls for tickets as they've been inundated. Was told to phone again monday morning. Is the Phil O'Donnell sold out??
