Have to say im not a McGee hater but i honestly think we've got a better man in JG. Muttely was flapping last season and he really isn't as good a manager as he thinks he is. I do find it hilarious that he's moved to a'bigger' club that cannae sign anyone. . Think he'll get to his beloved Smelltic once they sack Mobray. Do i care? .

Yes Lucas Jutkiewitch for six months. Hopefully we can extend that for a season along with big Ruddy. Not a big fan of 6 month loan deals but hopefully we can get one or two more in before the window shuts. Anyway judging by his picture he's tall and wiry must be to keep Sutton on his toes. .

Yes Craigan did well yesterday and like the look of big Hutchinson 18?? Jeeso. Reynolds at left back is fine by me too. A decent right back and defensively we should be fine this season.

Well done JIMBO and thoroughly deserved his standing ovation when he went off against a decent full back too he always looked confident and at times was a joy to watch.

I thought it was gumf to be honest but hey lets hope i hear it many times. Have to say as a mod/ska in a previous life i liked the one step beyond bit that Saints did last week although gutted at the time. To be fair everyone played their part and im jubilant mention too to big Sutton who scored and did well also and our new centre half Humhpries did well and weighed in with a peach of a goal. Some of the names mentioned on this thread have me cringing. . Worst manager has to be a joint ownership with Kampman and Malpas. Worst defender Queifio a French numptie. Worst midfielder is John Davies worst striker is John Hendry and worst keeper is Stevie (traffic cone) Woods. Have to say Fitzpatrick deserves a mention too for his performances last season.

Yes i enjoyed the game on saturday but our next 4 games home to Killie and Rangers away to Dundee Utd and Aberdeen?? are on paper tough games. It's great to play good football but surely a decent centre half to help our defence is URGENT! We'll have to grow up pretty quickly in this league.

I can see us getting beat to be honest. . Should be a good game mind you something like 2-3 with Kyle a certainty to score . We couldn't even beat their RESERVES last season and Jeffries would've seen glaring deficiences in our defence against Saints. Be ready for an areal bombardment and watching every ball into our box through you're fingers folks. If im wrong i'll be DELIGHTED.

Personally i love to see players celebrating with their own fans it's a daft rule to book them. But i suppose it's the same the world over. Hopefully ESPN will get their act together and give us a highlights programme to let the fans see it before 11 o'clock om a monday.

Im a fan of Craigan. Sure he's prone to making a c--t of things at times and the odd og but anyone who was at Perth would've seen that our defence was shambolic that 2nd half without him. I'd've kept him on moved Reynolds to left back and took off Hammell and Sutton but hey what do i know. One things for sure JG'S unpredictable but fair play to him for actually using his subs before the customary 60th minute or later. Craigan will be back and so will Hammell after a preverbial size 10 up his derrierre. .

Maybe there was a call fae Dundee when he had his back to the ball when it was passed to him from our restart after StJohnstone's 1st goal. Guy behind me certainly thought so at the game. Think he shouted something like... ALL THE BEST STEVIE IN YOU'RE NEW CAREER MOVE! .

Yep the last player to score for us outside the box was Mitchell Van Hire against Dunfermline in about 1995 to save us fae going down. .

Yes i think he'll be back in the holding midfield role. With Reynolds at left back. I'd try Hammell left midfield. We need to have a bit of experience as well. Against St Johnstone i felt they were getting through oud midfield too easily and away from home we need a wee bit more dig. .

Yep our 2 goals were crackers and the 2 we lost were a feckin DISASTER! We BADLY need a centre half to play alonside Craigan. By the way i'd go with Hately at right back i thought he did ok and could make that position his own. I usually think Hammell is ok not great but steady but today!!! . Think Jennings will be a good un and thought O'Brian did well also. All in all a draw away is a decent start considering we were behind twice. We need to defend better next week against that feckin Kyle beast and his fellow Killie hatchetmen. Last season we couldn't even beat their RESERVES so we owe them. .

Cracking game of football 2nd half. Wish JG hadn't taken Craigan off mind you at half time. Ok we had lost a goal but it took a wicked deflection. 2nd half i was watching through ma fingers every time they got by the half way line. . Craggs might not be silky but by feck when he's not playing we're a BOMBSCARE at the back. We need 3 players a centrehalf a right back and another striker. At times today we were really good and definately glad i went today even if ma blood preassure was going through the roof. . Funny feeling i'll be saying that a few times this season with our exciting young guns.

£800 GRAND for Reynolds? .Bite their hands off. Do you all forget his performances last season against Accies and Kilmarnock among others. I'll run him into Glasgow if he's stuck. That kind of money will pay wages for 4 decent players. C'mon folks you know it makes sense. .
