Have to say i was happy to read that today that basically EVERY Motherwell player could be playing to save their careers at what he put as a good standard so i take it Jim Gannon's told them in no uncertain terms that balls this one up and it's the Outer Mongolian 3rd div for those who let us down on thursday.This is what im wanting to hear and SURELY we''ll get past this team. .

Im sure it translates as follows....Motherwell beaten by a pub team with 2 porkers running the show for Llanelli. We should give them a chance and play the under 18's woman's team against them IF they get through. .

Id like to see Mark Reynolds at left midfield in front of Hammell with Forbes inside and 2 new players in along with a new right back. Centre half and THREE strikers as we curently have nowt up front. That makes 7 players before we can even start this season's league campaign. .

Yes well done to them. There was a nice gesture by their players when they came over to applaud the Well fans in the opp main stand. It's not their fault we WERE shit. Have to say a busload is a poor support for them though. Hopefully a decent home support for them to get us back for the 'fattie' jibes at their number 4 from us. May i suggest they target Sutton. .

To be honest im feckin SPEECHLESS about last night and just hope the numpties in Claret and Amber are as angry and embarresed as i am. .

I really cant see us scoring more than 2 goals to be honest and 2-0 for us to scrape through. Unless of course we play the feckin useless John Sutton then i'll go for 0-0. Murphy should be dropped also as he was pants. A young James Mac??? .

We've brought a new manager in who will bring in his own players and we must remember last season we got comfortably cuffed twice at home to Kilmarnock's RESERVES went out both cups without even a whimper and bottom of the league for a fair part of the season. A clearout IS required and i would flog Reynolds too and hunt Fitzpatrick and McGarry as soon as possible also. Lets give Jim Gannon some time to get new faces in that will improve us. We've made good money on our players and im sure Gannon will get funds to reinvest in the team. I do think however we'll be out of Europe before that happens and i have to say i fear the worst against this Welsh pub team. But once our new man gets players in im sure we'll be ok. Cant see us making top 6 mind you.

I'd like to cast your mind back to last season when all these 'star' players got comfortably gubbed twice at home to Kilmarnock's RESERVES lost every game to them. Got put out toothlessly in both cups to mighty Hamilton and St.Mirren im actually quite happy to see a clearout and im certain Jim Gannon will bring better players to our club. We were pants last season worst than St.Mirren which says it all. Im quite excited about watching new players at the Ark next season. BRING IT ON! .

I wouldn't read too much into today's game but one things for certain we need at least five players for the start of the season im quite happy shipping people out for cash as we were pants last season and a clearout was required. I wish Clarky and Quinn all the best. £75000 bid for Reynolds anyone? .I think that Jim Gannon will do well for us and bring in players that will improve us.

How can anyone honestly believe that playing European ties is a waste of time astonishes me. It's great to see us back in competitive action instead of pre-season friendlies. As for later in the season im sure a few days off here and there will take care of burnout. If we miracously make the Europa league proper could you imagine how chuffed we'll all be not to mention quids in for the club and raising our profile to attract a better calibre of player....Jeeso! .

Sell them both no probs i like Clarky and Quinn but i dont think they're irreplacable and hopefully 1.5m will help us through the financial minefield that we're in with the loss of tv income. Hopefully will also free funds to give our new manager scope to get who he wants in.

Hold on a wee moment folks i dont agree with the prophets of doom here. Yes some players have left us but once we get our new manager some will come in also. Lets get it into perspective. Steven Hughes who couldn't score tackle header or kick the ball with his left foot and blowing oot his arse after 60 mins has left . Maros Krimpl who was slower than a week in the jail who kicked just about everything above the grass has left. Graeme Smith who was more scared of crosses than Dracula and couldn't kick doors at Halloween has left. Once our new man is at the helm we can easily replace these players. MON THE WELL! .

Saw JB getting interviewed tonight on STV and i just hope whoever our new manager is that he knows the code to get in the feckin door unlike our esteemed leader who with cameras on him made a pigs ear of getting in. .
