WHAT'S IT LIKE TO PLAY ON GRASS! .

I too was dreaming of a return to Hampden this year and will be haunted all season long about how feebily we capitulated on thursday. Think MM was spot on with both statements to be fair.

I agree we have been mediocre this season. I just feel we should be working harder at the basics which we seem to be sadly lacking. This might be boring to some people judging by some the posts on here but i watch Motherwell home and away and some of the dross we've served up this season... I wasn't at the game last night but watched it on Setanta and one of the comments made was....Motherwell aren't used to playing on a good surface which is affecting their performance. Fortunately i resisted in putting ma foot through the telly. . If we cant make 10 yard passes what chance have we got. GET IT SORTED OUT MM.

Been wondering after last night's dross what excactly do we do at daily training do we just run round a park like headless chickens? I cant understand how someone like Clarkson whose been with us for a good few seasons now STILL cant control or make a 10 yard pass with a ball on a flat surface?? Why Mark Fitzpatrick played SEVEN passes in a row to a St Mirren player and then proceeded to cross a ball under no preassure to the back of the stand. How Stevie Hammell in the 2nd half couldn't get a cross above the 1st defender TWICE in a matter of seconds. How Steven Hughes cant hit a decent shot with either foot. How Paul Quinn under NO PREASSURE plays a 10 yard pass straight to a St Mirren player with no Motherwell player within TEN YARDS! Why Clarkson and Sheridan look as if neither has a clue what the other is going to do and their attempts to link up was frankly PATHETIC! So if anyone could let me know if you've ever watched a training session... WHAT THE FECK GOES ON! .

Personally im dreading sunday for the following reasons 1. They're a wee bit off form and everytime we meet a team like that we get pumped. 2 We have ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE of getting a goal on sunday 3. The wee fat Aussie will turn Reynolds for fun 4. It's 'father' Brines in charge we'll get hee haw decisions. 5 Sorry but we're CRAP!. .

Spineless gutless useless shower. . David Clarkson in the Scotland team? .We've proved tonight that although our pitch isn't great we cant play on ANY pitch in PERFECT conditions. Im appalled and embaressed by that pish in front of a another good support. We were powderpuff throughout the WHOLE game and thouroughly deserved NOTHING! I know we'll get people posting how UNLUCKY??? We were but quite frankly players like Clarkson whose 2nd touch was a tackle all night and Fitzpatrick who almost had 100% failure in passing to ANY Motherwell player have let themselves the club and US the fans down. Our season will now fizzle out as we wont make the top 6 either and im FECKIN GUTTED. . The Scotland fan in me is saying NO WAY SHOULD CLARKY BE PLAYING FOR SCOTLAND!

Frankly im GUTTED to see 'father' Brines in charge of ANY game between us and Celtic. He and 'brother' McCurry shouldn't be allowed anywhere near games involving the Mould Firm. .

It's a strange one i thought Hammell Clarky Smith and Krimpl all done well. Im going for Smith as Clarky gets motm almost every week and rightly so he's having a cracking season. .

He did do ok and gives 100%. Im just not happy and im sure he isn't being played on the left wing. Jim O'Brian has definately something to give us but he's strickly right footed.

Wish we could get him up to speed and on the park a.s.a.p. We are SERIOUSLY needing a left sided attacking player as Jim O'Brian's like a fish out of water on the left flank. .

Just in from game. Have to say we were 2nd best today and scarecely deserved to win but we did and it's a fab 3pts and has us banging the door for the top 6. Thought Clarky and Hughes were our best peformers as was Smithy in goalwith some fine saves. Can someone PLEASE explain to me why MM insists on putting Jim O'Brian on the LEFT wing. Sheridan's as raw as a winter's night on Glenshee by the way. .

I thought there was 6500 there today i always add on 1000 to the 'official' Athur Daley attendance. . Still not a great crowd to be honest.

Hav eto agree with most of these posts. We wont have a decent pitch till we move so we'll just have to get on with it. Having said that is Mr Magoo our groundsman? It must be the worst surface in Scotland.

Have to say Sheridan had a quite good game yesterday. I was unhappy about an interview he gave in the press where he seemed to consider his loan deal as a bit of a joke with him having a laugh with Caddis of Utd about whose going to be 3rd and how much he cant wait to get back to the San Giro to play for Celtic. Having said that if he does the business for us then ok but i'll never think the sun shines out his backside and i'd be the same if he was on loan from Rangers. As for O'Brian i have to say he's improving and will be a usefull player for us. I personally dont care if someone's kid on Irish as my biggest hero at the Ark was Tommy Coyne.So get behind them both everybody in our next two MASSIVE games against Accies and St.Mirren which could make or break our season. .

. When are we going to get a centre half.

Really looking forward to tommorow's game Craig Dargo the wee s---e who always scores against us is injured by the way. .

Yes David Clarkson's doing really well this season and much more consistent i've lost count of the times he's been man of the match well done Davie C. .

As season ticket holder and who goes regularly to away games i dont see whats wrong in having a say on how players are performing. I dont just rant and rave for the sake of it and give praisetoo where it's due. We've got our act together this season as the cracking displays at Tannadice and Easter Road proves and gave my team a standing ovation at the end of both games. However i also remember against Killie reserves and Accies where we were pish and deserved critisism. Hands up everyone who said oh unlucky Reynolds when he fannied about to let Accies kid on Irishman score that 2nd goal that day. GET REAL! I love my team but on a fans forum we should express our anger at times.

This one is no contest John Sutton is a proven goalscorer and playing against a former team will be right up for this game. Sheridan was in the Rancid saying he has had a wee laugh with some player called Caddis who went to Dundee Utd on loan about who'll finish 3rd and how much he was looking forward to going back to Smeltic. I personally wouldn't play him in Motherwell ladies team with due respect to the ladies. If he wants to work with MM i dont have a problem with that but no way do i want him playing for us EVER!

This is quite encouraging i thought we'd lost him with the window shutting.

Well done to everyone who made the journey up north. I go to a lot of away games but Inverurie on a monday night? . Just like to say glad we won glad no player got injured in bad conditions and glad all Well fans got home safetly. .

Have to say that game is probably the most possesssion and dictating play i've seen from a Well team in an away game for yonks. Great to see and such a shame we didn't get the win we really deserved the standind ovation from the Well fans and the boos from Hibs at the end summed it all up. Had to laugh at the highlights on Setanta made it look a close game. . We were WELL on top that 2nd half. We've followed that up with a good away win in difficult conditions up north. CANT WAIT TILL SATURDAY NOW. .

I'd take the money and buy Krimpl and Simon Lappin and a centre-half. I like Lasley but we need to freshen up our squad and that means players moving on.

Knocked us back before so feckin no way. He's probably pish now anyway. .
