As a member of the Fir Park club since 1990 i'd like to clear up a few points. 1 it's NOT a Rangers pub but have to say that not many of the Green and White persuasion drink in it. 2 There's always a good band on on a friday night. 3 I've NEVER known any standing for the Queen at the end of the night 4 A picture of the Queen does hang above the stage where's the harm in that. 5 I've RARELY ever seen any bother in it. 6 The drink's cheap 7 There's MOTHERWELL pictures 4 of them in one of the bars 8 One of the lounges is called the Wee Alpha lounge and on matchdays it's FULL of Motherwell fans so why not pay it a visit folks and see for yourselves. Mines is a bottle of Miller. .

Personally i prefer away fans in the bottom tier of the South stand apart from that i have to agree about the tannoy and the state of the pitch. The truth hurts im afraid.

Of course im a Well fan i just dont think cental defence is Reynolds best position i think he's got bags of pace and a decent left foot and would do a good job left side of midfield in a Steven Pearson type role. Thats how i see it and i watch him home and away. .

Im just wondering why MM plays him down the LEFT wing when he cant kick feck all with his left foot. He's NO chance by the way of getting any international caps with the Republic anyway. .

Im not anti- Marc Fitzpatrick i think he's got a lot to offer but that header was 4 yards out and no one near him. The Porter header he got clobbered by one of their thug defenders and where i was sitting in the Phil O'Donnel was the reason he missed it. Will have to wait to see the highlights on Setanta mind you to be sure.

Thought today Reynolds nearly started his goal a game to the opposition trend again with that howling pass in the first 5 minutes which thankfully the Falkirk player fannied about and didn't get his shot in. Also 2 heartfluttering moments in the 2nd half one when he missed a header when a half inch jump would've had him making contact and another when he chased back and kicked a clearance into our box and straight to one of their strikers. I cant wait till the day comes when we sign another central defender to play alongside Craigan. My mates all agreed we should've signed Pressley who certainly still looks fit and solid. I do think Reynolds could do a job for us left side of midfield but as a defender he's CRAP! .

He's probably as good as a ten year old at crossing the ball with his left foot as he proved today in the last minute when he ran to the bye-line and whipped one over the Davy Cooper Stand. Gave the corner flag a pasting mind you. .

Yep i think he's going to finally be a replacement for the great Colin O'Neill. Thought his tackling was really good today and once he settles in i think he'll be a cracking player.

An excellent take on the game there from EL GREW. Hughes is not giving us 100% and should be dropped. Both Quinn and Fitzpatrick couldn't find there own arses with both hands and the crosses into the box 2nd half from wide areas was pish O'Brian was another . He's a really annoying player to watch as he gets himself into decent positions because of his pace and frequently fecks it up.Why was Sutton not brought on instead of Murphy? Having said all that we should've won this at least 2-1 and Fitzy's pish header in the 1st half with no keeper in was as bad a miss as i've EVER seen. .Bring on the Hibees next sat. .

The topic of this post is MM saying 3rd place is beyond us. As much as it pains me im afraid he's right and top 6 is a more realistic prospect. Hopefully with a good cup run as well.

Im getting carried away on a wave of optimism here and now realise that the Accies and Killie reserves defeats were just on another lifetime and we're BACK! So it's a 3-1 win for me with the new possession holding stocky David Clarkson scoring TWICE! .

Im just glad the wee sh--e has to pay up. He was an impostor on the pitch on 5 grand a week and tried to shaft the club for a LOAN he probably had no intention of EVER paying the club back. .

Simple answer to free up some money. Punt McGarry sell Reynolds and punt Malcolm. There you go that could free up enough money to pay Krimpl and get a decent centre half to play alongside Craigan. You know it makes sense. .

Was watching the Tattiemunchers getting stuffed and after they'd lost a 3rd goal it was over to Tannadice to watch Clarky fire one into the top corner with his LEFT foot. Spent the afternoon watching Setanta and jumping up and down. Cant wait to see the highlights at 7pm. Another clean sheet too is fab. .

have to say as much as i love the idea of a GOOD Motherwell song to be played before games at the Ark that one is absolute CRAP and i could feel ma cheecks squeezing together as i cringed listening to it. Would like if they could get someone who can hold a tune to racord a decent title for us. BIN THIS SONG IT'S CRINGWORTHY! .

To be fair i think Sutton will be a good player for us but he's definately been off form recently and Porter has been doing well. I do feel that we're going to get a 200 grand bid for Ports on the last day of the "window" and he'll be offski as we'll need the money to help us strentghen elsewhere ie (centre half) if that is the case we'll need to hope Sutton can get back to form and quickly. .

He's a knob and a crap striker nae chance of Hearts keeping him and one of the worst players i've seen at the Ark.Apart from that feck him.Rant over. .

Have to say i dont hate Hearts. The cup game at Tynecastle last season 2-2 draw. Some decent Hearts fans were commenting after the game on our Uncle Phil banner and wishing us all the best and i remember me and my Mrs walking down Gorgie Road and seeing Well and Hearts fans having a laugh together. I remember the old days too when it was SERIOUSLY dodgy outside Tynie but times have changed. I also remember this season after we'd beat Hibs 1-0 and Hearts fans cheering us as we went by. They're just another team as far as im concerned and beating them is FAB but Celtic Rangers Hibs Airdrie i hate them and remember when Dunfermline fans invaded the park when they scored a 2nd against us in a meaningless game for them which would've sent us down before Van Der Gaag's 25 yarder saved us FECK THEM ALSO! I hope they NEVER get back to the SPL. .

Just in from game and a MASSIVE 3pts for us. Sometimes an ugly 1-0 win is required and boy that was uglier than Dot Cotton and Pauline Fowler rolled into one. . But do i care? Do i feck. Have to say the pitch wasn't great but the spirit and determination from everyone was marvellous if only we could've actually strung 2 passes together or actually had a shot at goals rather than wee nice flicks. .But hey it's a massive win. For anyone wanting to watch the highlights im afraid there isn't any apart from our well worked winning goal. MON THE WELL!

I agree we need him back and challenging for a defensive slot. The sooner the better.

Have read today that this Norweigan u-21 chappie is coming to the Ark for a trial he said--I dont know much about them(motherwell) but i hear they need a centre-half so i hope it'll be me im coming over with an open mind and an open ticket. NEED A CENTRE-HALF??? NO SHIT! .I hope he can tackle a fish supper and actually hold off an attacker. If he can SIGN HIM PLEASE!
