  1. back to 4-4-2? Obviously Broon was experimenting and it didn't work. Hopefully Saunders will fill in nicely at RB
  2. does a draw mathematically guarantee top 6?
  3. seems to be a shitey game as expected. Glad I stuck to my decision not to go along.
  4. I'm nearly craig broon
  5. and apparently Chris Sutton has joined us according to the record.
  6. I'll just shut up then
  7. that wouldn't surprise me in the slightest!
  8. unfortunately don't see anything other than a scrappy crappy defeat here to end our unbeaten run. This is a game where we need as much bite in the midfield as we can muster, and with that in mind my team selection would be: Ruddy Reynolds, Craigan, Page/Hutchinson (either fit?), Hammell Hateley, Lasley, Jennings, Coke Sutton, Jukiewicz Not that Hateley's gonna get put into the midfield again this season, but i just think that's how we should play it. Massive game tonight. Draw or win guarantee's top 6, gets us a big gap on hertz and could pull us level on points with 4th place. Of course, if we win 6-0 we'll go outright fourth
  9. It'll be fine by next season. Not as if we'll be starting mid july like we did this year. We'll go into either the 3rd qualifying round or 1st round proper, so it'll be an august start.
  10. Ya fud you've just jinxed it!! I still don't think we'll be in europe unless the place goes to 5th in the league. Our run has to come to a halt at somepoint, and I see that happening against st mirren unforunately. Ihope we can, but I can't see us sustaining our challenge against dundee utd and hibs
  11. MJC has a lot to live up to.

Aye but hammell's is supposed to be good ain't it... otherwise why would he be our corner taker? The vast majority of modern fullbacks are better at going forward and crossing these days.

fuck all wrong with Humphrey's crossing. Helluva lot better than Hammell's and as good as anyone elses IMO. Couple of wayward ones yesterday, but plenty of variety and at least he can clear the first man most of the time. Looking forward to seeing him get a full 90 mins on a pitch where the ball doesn't bounce awkwardly every 2 yards.
  14. to be fair though, Pittodrie's pitch, although it looks terrible doesn't cut up nearly as badly as ours.
  15. Aye, it's been like a morgue lately
  16. p.s wtf are those Wells Belles all aboot? A. They're kids. B. They're not the Hammerettes C. They cannae keep in time with each other D. The tunes they "dance" to are shite
  17. credit for murphy for chasing after and having a go with his 3rd chance when his boot came off 25 yards out! Not pleasant trying to wallop a ball with yer bare feet!
  18. since everyone is so positive I'm gonna go for the safe bet of 1-0 to Killie courtesy of a fluke deflection of Craigan's arse.
  19. Why not involved? I was only kidding, it'll not be that serious! Plus, it's very easy to learn if you don't know how to play.
  20. Pokers not a game for pissheads! "It's not the winning, it's the taking part"... That's loser speak!! I would suggest £50 a head prize money and £100 to youth development plus the remaining £300 ish on actual prizes, for example a chip set, cards, chip guard etc.
  21. Spoke to Dougie Arnott last night and he would be interested in putting in a team from the wee thackitt depending on the dates.
  22. Take a day or two off work, you can crash at mine
  23. Sounds good. A champions league night would be fine, or a fri/sat night for the weekend... but they're probably out of the question due to other things. Team games are quality, would be an interesting twist to the night. Our team if they can make it would be picked from: Me, DC, Highland, ForthThistle, Claret&Amber, Robyn, Gazzy B etc... we could maybe put in a SO1 and SO2 team like the Olympics
