  5. This is true... would be nice to get it by merit rather than by default though! Not that I'd be complaining mind...
  6. I was thinking last night that if we could get 4 points from six against Rangers and Accies this coming Saturday that we'd be sitting pretty for making sure of a top six finish. But after last nights, and all the results going our way, does anyone think we are capable of making 4th place and the Europa League spot? We've reduced the gap on the arabs to 5 points, retained the status quo in the gap to 6th and 7th and our next 3 fixtures look like this: Accies (Away) Hibs (Home) Edit: Killie (Home) In my mind, there's no reason why we can't realistically achieve 6 or 7 points from those 3 games which would stand us in good stead coming up to the split. We will then have Celtic, Hearts and Dundee utd to play before the split, the rest of the teams are bottom six. Whereas Utd. have to play Celtic, Hearts, Aberdeen, Hibs, Rangers and us before the league splits. I know i'm probably jumping the gun a bit, but I think we're in a very good position for a top 6 finish, and if we play well and results go our way, who knows, we might well end up in europe for the 3rd season running
  7. Hateley's fk was an absolute belter, postage stamp stuff

Tonight, IMO, he showed he's got: 1. Nae strength on the ball 2. Nae ability to take the ball past a full back
  9. Would've bitten your hand off for that before the game, but terrible schoolboy defending for their equaliser has left me with a bad taste in the mouth.

The successful bidder will join the team for a training session and be put through their paces. Great for anyone who wants to meet the team or show off their football skills!! The ball is being organised by the family and friends of baby Joseph MacDermid who is recovering from a brain tumour diagnosed shortly after his parents Ewan and Maree arrived in Australia. 16. Good wee player, could maybe do us a turn. Although the BSq Prem isn't of the same standard as the SPL, I'd say it's probably as good as, if not slightly better than the 1st division. And the U's (despite their league position) are probably in the top 2 or 3 clubs in that league in terms of size and facilities. Might be worth a shout to bring him in and give him a chance to shine. A certain Mr Ruddy came from Cambridge Utd and have historically churned out some good players over the years, not to dissimilar a club to our own. Although... Dion Dublin

  21. it's funny, although I'm happy with the three points today, I can't help but feel as though it's money wasted. The performance was poor, not cos we're crap, but because of the pitch. There's no enjoyment to be had with what was on show for 90 mins today. Only positive is hopefully Rangers will struggle against us on Wed night.
  22. agreed. in some ways the pitch is as bad as it was last season at times. Terrible terrible surface Despite it being a hard winter and other surfaces not being great, ours is still the worst in the SPL. Look at St Midden's today on the telly, relative bowling green compared to ours and thats a newish surface that'd surely need the same time to "knit"?
