my grandad supported Motherwell before he ever moved there from Cardiff. He grew up with a friend from Lanarkshire and had an affinity for them. It latter turned out (by coincidence) that after the war he were to marry a woman from Ireland and settle in Motherwell! My generation (i.e. bro and sis) are the first scots and native Lanarkshire folk in the family, but we have 3 generations (soon to be 4!) of die hard well fans.

yep, my vote has to go to Clarkson as well. He's been great for us this season: his work ethic, goals and general play have been deserving of the vote. Massive, massive improvement in the last 3-4 seasons from Clarkson... if he keeps this level of improvement up, we won't be able to hold on to him next year.

Does anyone know anything about this player? All i know is that he played for motherwell for a number of years, as well as hibs and got a transfer for the princely sum of 14,000 pounds to the USA! Turns out he's been doing some work with my old man, so wondered if anyone could provide any more information / memorable info about him?
