  1. No but I'd be far more inclined to allow you back in my garden again instead of rubbing the shite in your face if you ever came back. You're getting a bit cynical in your old age mate, credit is due for them swallowing their pride and making the right move. It seems that all the news that's been coming out lately that have supposedly been part of the trusts mission mandate isn't good enough cos your not getting your wee press exclusive on it?!? I could be wrong, but posts like this and the ones on the canterbury thread are making me think really negatively about the trust, after all your hard work in winning me round in the first place!
  2. i thought it went to the next team in the league regardless of fair play for that team? Is the fair play league not about nations, not teams? Therefore all we're doing is helping the spl get another place, not ourselves? Feel free to tell me i'm wrong lol
  3. if we were to end up in the bottom six, then i'd hope McGhee would give his fringe players a chance, and, if possible, recall the ones who have been successful out on loan and give them a chance. Giving the likes of Murphy, Krysiak, Aydilek, Wilson, Forbes, Murray, Archdeacon etc a go might prove to be fruitful for next season. Well, maybe not the loan players but still
  4. doesn't it go down to goals scored and then head to heads after goal difference?
  5. anyone think due to the fact that we're so hyped up for this and raring to go, that the top 6 is actually a good thing giving a bit of excitement to the mid table battle? Personally, I think not. This year could be the perfect example of a screw up. If either us or Hibs finish in the bottom six, it's quite feasible that either team could finish on enough points to secure them a Europa League berth, yet be stuck in 7th place.
  6. that's a fabulous move by the club, and i think it's brilliant that the cooper is now an OF free zone as of next season. Not the stand I sit in personally, but still feel very strongly about it. The price reductions for Saturday and for season tickets is also very encouraging news. Well done to everybody involved

i hope that when it comes to renegotiating for sponsorship then they coincide it with the supposed on time releases of the shirts. Although, perhaps the club are happy to keep it like this as it's a little extra revenue for them? I wouldn't begrudge them that. We'll struggle to get a sponsor if JAXX don't renew this time IMO, we could end up sponsorless!

That key design feature will surely be either: A. A claret hoop or B. Uncle Phil's autograph EDIT: already working on new designs for 10-11 season? So that means the new kit will only last a year again... sigh!
  11. also, when reading the administration part, it becomes clear to me that we have quite a lot to be thankful to Mr Boyle for. Yeah, granted he was in charge of getting us into this sorry mess in the first place, but many other business men / chairman would have been out of there faster than a rat up a drain pipe.
  12. interesting to note that the wage bill has jumped over a million pounds in the last year. If Boyle was propping up the wages of porter and shug, then surely this shouldn't have been part of the finances?

p.s just out of interest, can you tell us a wee bit about whether or not the badge and kit man. logo's are going to be in the middle of the strip, or the traditional either side of the chest? I know the last mock up was fake, but am I the only one who thinks that the MFC badge right in the middle looks really good on those sort of designs? From a wee bit of deduction and looking at the other kit designs and materials etc, i expect the new strip will look similar to the last mock up anyway, so i think it's going to be a topper of a strip this year fingers crossed!

what difference does the colour of boots make? if you're applying logic, then by all rights the boots should be colour co-ordinated with the strips?
