to be fair i've only ever been in Lauder's to watch the Rugby and a Scotland international and I've never had any bother at all (and the food is decent) But i suppose it could be very different on a match day!

as far as I'm aware the place has gone bust, although rumours are that some big pub management chain has bought it. So it'll probably be given a re-fit and re-name in due course (which of course usually means that it won't be as good!)

Just to let you folk that are coming know that the two regular drinking places for the well fans when they come to Inverness (Deeno's and the Phoenix) have both been closed down and neither will be open on Saturday. From what I gather, quite a lot of folk are going to head to Lauders which is a pretty good sports pub (and close to the train station) before the match.

i like the layout of the new site mate. Hopefully the 'layout' of the new and improved MST will be equally as impressive.

if it wasn't celtic we were playing on sunday i'd say I'd like to see us revert back to 3 up front and have sheridan, clarkson and sutton on, think that would maybe work quite well? Try it against inverness, or if not, just give clarkson a wee rest for a week, i'd like to see how sutton and sheridan play together

For the game i'd probably drop shug in favour of Lasley for this game. The pitch is atrocious and we're not gonna get much of a chance to play silky football. Narrow 1-0 win with Klimpl the Kruncher sticking his heid in where it hurts to grab an 89th minute winner.

aren't St Mirren & Falkirk's matches always all ticket? Something to do with the policing around the area?

Just out of interest, do you still have the same problems between Turkish migrants and Germans that you used to? What's Semih's English like? Just wondering if he could slot into the team. To be honest I'll be getting ripped right into McCarthy and every other Hamilton Accies player. Singing your in the wrong fuckin country isn't exactly abusive is it? My mates up here call me a wee weegie bastard, now I dunno about you, but I don't take offence to it, simply retort by calling them teuchter fannies. How come this had been made much more of an issue than say "You've only got one eye" directed at Dean Shields or whatever. That's personally abusive to someone, whereas stating your in the wrong country... (yes, we know what the underlying meaning is) is not. The only reason McCarthy chose to play for Ireland is because of the stupid West Coast Syndrome we've got here in Scotland, it's a major identity crisis we need to address. I don't blame McCarthy for being a turncoat, i blame society for influencing him to become one.

the very odd occasion that I drive to the football (like my beer too much!) i usually park in the Civic Centre car park and jump up past the health centre onto windmillhill road. Never usually have much of a problem getting out onto the road. What was the script with the casuals on Saturday, any problems?

remember Dalziel park will have a lot more sunlight than you get at Fir Park, so that's conducive to a decent playing surface too. However, I'd agree with most peoples posts on here, our pitch is an absolute state and should've been fixed long before now. Use Chris Porters wages to pay for it!
