  1. maybe he'll sign an extension on the promise that he's allowed to talk to the first person that offers £1m+ for him
  2. I just don't see that happening though, do you?
  3. will be strange to see two ex well front men leading the line for cardiff in the premiership next season Cos with Chrissy Porter on board, the only way is up for them!
  4. no official word from the club on this yet?
  5. yep, which scuppers my plans for the st mirren game and burns supper
  6. they never did, did they?!?
  7. 96 miles, and i take your point
  8. nothing happening then?
  9. well it's 9c in Inverness today, so i'm convinced the game could've gone ahead if they'd given it the chance
  10. i'll stand corrected then...just thought i read a post from another member stating this was the case
  11. Aye but the SFA don't do sensible. It's not allowed. And even if it were to be moved at this stage, both teams will have to agree to it, and I don't see Inverurie agreeing to a switch away from their home for the biggest game in their history.
  12. it's not allowed to switch it to Fir Park. If it was switched it'd be moved to the closest similar sized stadium capable of hosting the match. Most likely Peterhead, Elgin City or Montrose
  13. apparently Locos will be without defender Andy Bisset, winger Ritchie Singer and striker Scott Michie. Are these key players for them?
  14. the annoying thing is they've obviously deemed it suitable for today, so tomorrow inspection is the only viable option. If it's playable today and temps stay above freezing (even just) then it'll be game on tomorrow.
  15. they'll probably plan another inspection for 9am tomorrow or something.
  16. aye you best make sure he doesn't stuff himself with a pie, chips and beans in the canteen at lunch!
  17. Has anyone else noticed that players have been either playing well or improving all over the park lately? I wonder, if this had come about a month or so earlier whether or not we'd be in with a decent shout of 3rd place. 5 games unbeaten, and a real test of our mettle against Hibs this weekend will go some way to proving to the league that we're not a one season wonder team. In particular I'd say Smith, Craigan, Hammell, O'Brien, Klimpl, Fitzy, Porter & Clarkson have all been doing very well lately, with it seeming to coincide with our midfield actually beginning to perform again in the way we know it can. As for the subs: McGarry I think won't get a look in whilst O'Brien is performing so well, Sutton seems to have lost favour with McGhee, not sure what that's about? Darren Smith, would like to see him getting on a bit more often, but not entirely convinced he could go a full 90 mins regularly? Jamie Murphy, would like to see more from him. Undoubtedly he's a big talent, but I've seen nothing from him so far this season to merit him breaking into the first team on a more regular basis. Think he needs to improve his passing accuracy, stop giving the ball away so much and improve his positional awareness a bit. I'm glad he's getting the chance to prove himself, and from what I've heard I'm sure he can do it, but I'd love for him to go out and give McGhee a real selection headache!
  18. I wouldn't consider it an embarrassment that you've gotten to this round in the cup to give you the opportunity against the bigger teams, you'll do yourselves proud i'm sure; win, lose or draw. Just get your supporters to be the "twelfth man"
