  1. Fancy us to turn this round tbh. Just need a final ball/finish. Ref needs to be stronger and needs to get a grip of Iacoviti. Constant man-handling off the ball. St Mirren just being physical etc. Their boy ran into stand after scoring as well and no booking. Great goal by Slattery.
  2. Apparently Celtic (and Rangers) are well down the list of Miller's preferred destinations, so suspect all the paper chat bumming up Celtic is a bit of a moot point.
  3. We could get into ECL qualifiers this year in 5th place if Celtic win SC.
  4. Likely pish, but its a verified account. Good to see these sorts of figures banded about though https://x.com/footyinsider247/status/1896896513457963230?t=1ka73a8dK38hqJ2-OgpQ1Q&s=19
  5. Yeah Halliday is quite decent. He's always good on the podcasts and SSB. Also think the last few games are up there with some of his best in a Motherwell strip.
  6. Haha, I was meaning this 'Halliday Man' https://x.com/PaisleySteelman/status/1896642056870854984?t=LIvVzTIjfvVhxCIAxVSDLw&s=19
  7. 😂 'Halliday Man' has just been on SSB
  8. Fully on board with Wimmer. Really is quite the turnaround and have gone from dreading eye-bleeding games, to eagerly anicipating decent football. Even if we were to lose we know there will be some decent stuff in there. Wimmer seems tactically astute and is quite personable/has a bit of man-management about him, which makes sense given his background. He's been getting a tune out of Andrews and I'm wondering if we can manave a loan for him again next year. Coventry are progressing towards a play-off place and if they get promoted, Andrews will be less likely to feature for them. Given he now seems to be flourishing with us, they may hopefully allow it. Obviously down to the player's preference as well. I'm quite looking forward to seeing what we look like after a pre-season under him.
  9. Yeah, relatively comfortable. There was a chance very similar to Marius Zaliukas' in the play-off at Fir Park, where Tavernier blazed over from about 8 yards - Similar to then, I thought that was a sign we were going to see it out.
  10. Incredibly, we're currently 4 points off 3rd.
  11. Its quite possibly unprecedented.
  12. Tremendous so far. Very poor from the linesman flagging so early for the first. I thought that was aginst protocol? Nerves are shot already. Motherwell/St Johnstone double on the coupon as well. Odds were too generous not to.
  13. Yeah especially if you get an iconic win, you want to be wearing a traditional strip. If we were to win a cup again, I'd want the historic pictures having us in a amber top with a claret band.
  14. I think given what happened at Rugby Park it could be a tough atmosphere, although if we score early/stop them the crowd could turn. For all the talk of Ferguson's apparent lack of tactical nous, he seemed to have got the place fired up. They may just have too much for us, especially if we see a drop-off in second half,. They ate slso far better technically than Dundee and gaps when pressing could be exploited. We'll see how we get on.
  15. Last night was the most I've enjoyed a game in a while. Anticipation before it and butterflies at points, as opposed to nigh-on apathy. Players seem to enjoy it more. Must be much more fun with a bit of creative freedom and actually being pro-active, rather than being asked to cede possession and sit in. Casey's goal straight from the training geound and had a near identical one not long after. Our play encouraged the fans, which in turn encouraged the players. With such high intensity its inevitable we'll drop off at some points, but I think then its important to be more clinial and make it count when we're on top. If you add first half yeaterday and second half at Tannadice, its decent progress in a week.
  16. Dundee's next 4 games are Utd, Rangers, Hibs and St Johnstone.
  17. Heard today that O'Donnell was also questioning Kettlewell on his tactics.
  18. Was the opposite of Sat, where this time far better first half than second. Understandable though as we definitely ran out of steam and taking rhe Slattery, Miller and Halliday off vastly weakened our Midfield. Still very early days obviously, but you can clearly see what Wimmer is trying to do. What a difference when you're pro-active and looking to win the ball. Though Halliday had one of his better games, Miller was very good, as was Slattery. Andrew did well also, albeit a few stray passes. Would be very interested to see us after a full pre-season.
  19. Davor needs shot for not just launching that
  20. Our subs have killed our midfield
