  1. A bit of overthinking on Robinson's part. Just play the same game as last year and make your decisions about who starts:Turnbull/Polworth, Seedorf/Hastie etc.
  2. We need to be getting Tunbull central and playing via him.
  3. This has frustrated me for years. Same with surrendering possession chaply at throw-ins - players making only token effort to show for tgh ball.
  4. Looking better this half.
  5. 1-0 Rangers Terrible clearance from Campbell
  6. Dom Thomas has joined Dunfermline from Killie. IIRC we had a sell-on, so we'll be due about £100
  7. Its possible this will be moved to the Sun anyway because of Europe.
  8. Its on Sky. We are also on Sky v Hibs 14th Aug. The opening weekend's tv fixtures are: Sat: Aberdeen v Rangers (17:30) Sun: Celtic v Hamilton Mon: Ross Co v Motherwell I like the Sat 17:30 tv games tbh. Better than midday.
  9. I don't think this can be overstated. Despite our league form, we struck gold in terms of Managerial appointments if we take the play-offs in isolation. Baraclough was perhaps 'ignorant' to things, but he certainly didn't have the deferential mindset of others which would certainly have seen us relegated. Our Media/PR output was tremendous as well - Even down to handling of ticket allocation etc.
  10. The day the tickets went on sale was, luckily, a bank holiday. I made the call to go over to Fir Park just in case. 2hr queue, but tickets for both legs secured. I had the fear going to Ibrox on the Thurs - given our record there - and remember telling everyone I'd take us keeping it to a 1-0 defeat, particularly because our home form was ok. Policing at Ibrox was a joke as usual, with lighters and coins landing all around. Half-time and we're 2-0 up. I have a sore hip after ending up 3 rows in front celebrating the 2nd. Disbelief in the foyer/pie queue and a sense of not knowing quite how to feel. Second half was still pretty tense, despite, going 3 up especially when McGregor scored. Boyd had a few chances as well. Got out of Ibrox and walked to central via Govan Road, in amongst the Rangers fans. Remember phoning my dad in a state of shock/joy. 2nd leg for me was a formality after one specific moment - Zaliukas blazing one over from 6 yards just before half time. The game was up for Rangers after that. I think it would take a cup win to eclipse that victory at Ibrox. Huge performance in pretty much the most partisan/hostile environment we could get.
  11. The 'second operation' is a bit disingenuous no? Is it not just routine aftercare?
  12. I think they either get special dispensation, or they just take the fine. Happened before, but can't remember the circumstances.
  13. ... On the bright side, Aberdeen have Celtic on Sun, so could be back in third. Livi away at Ibrox as well.
  14. That's it, just let Eduard to run into space.
  15. Even given inflation, there still aren't all that many >£1m transactions going on in Scottish Football (outwith those involving Rangers and Celtic).
  16. St Johnstone were looking at him as well I think
  17. Livi have re-signed Dolly Menga. Perhaps someone in for Dykes?
