  1. That said, I don't think checking to see if a player has a toenail offside is in the spirit of the offside law. Was it not originally 'seeking to gain an advantage' by standing offside, or something?
  2. I've questioned a few offside decisions in the past with the lines, because surely, by definition, they need to be drawn parrallel to the markings (goal-line, box, halfway line) on the park. On occasion it has seemed like the haven't
  3. There was a v good save by Ward late on down to his right. Looked certain a goal was coming. So credit where its due.
  4. Great play Should have been 2 there
  5. What was that disallowed for? Offside?
  6. Decent pen given all the palava and the GK trying to psyche him out
  7. ...Well its a new way to go about things, rather than losong a lead. 80% possession before goal.
  8. Swings and roundabouts. Alot of it depends on the state of the squads and how Röhl performs. Johnston got injured again last night and CCV done his achillies as well. Ihenacho also got injured. An injury to others Eg Scales, or McGregor and they are in a mess.
  9. From the training pics it looks as if Longelo is fine
  10. I like Hampden also (I'm usually in South or North stands though) and isn't difficult to get to. It is served by multiple train stations, from one next door to about 4 or 5 within a 20 min walk (albeit most on the same line) Its also 5 mins away from the M74
  11. This is the problem. There was a note of zero tolerance of jerey pulling (particularly in the box) at the start of the eason last year (I think). It is now very selectively picked up on. It was also meant to be an immediate yellow, which didn’t happen on Sat I don't think (when RCC was tugged back)
  12. Said was tremendous first half as was Elliot Watt
  13. Guy behind me was screaming "Get it up the park". We are controlling games by not doing that. Its execution and decision making that is the problem, not the way we are setting up. Ironically in the first half (and start of second) we were getting balls into the sort of positions where Ap Stam would have been. Being ultra harsh. The Ap Stam handball goal, he should have perhaps had the presence of mind to try and find a pass, rather than putting in the net, as everyone in the ground know it would get overturned for the goalscorer-handball rule. As I say, being very harsh, but you wonder if players are thinking of this now.
  14. Also fully expect Willie Collum to come out and say VAR should not be getting involved in Said's goal. It was nowhere near enough a material error for the ref to wave play on in the first instance and was the example of re-referring the game he was at pains to say shouldnt happen in his last VAR review. I mean a subjective 'foul' on the halfway line, where the Falkirk player was nowhere near (in control of) the ball anyway 🤷‍♂️
  15. To Be fair to Askou, he can't do much about individual errors. Fadinger was ball watching and dropped off Arfield for the second. We were a yard slow to press/stop crosses. The heartening thing is that we are well in games and are getting up the park etc. There is noone that has particularly dominated us. You at least get the feeling that we could/should do something, whereas last year you couldn't see where a (chance at) goal was coming from at times.
  16. When will we stop allowing people to just put crosses in at will?
  17. Yaaaasss Maswanhise top corner 1-0
