  1. Got ball on right, drove forward, cut inside just on edge of box and rattled it in the top corner.
  2. Oooooft HAstie with another absolute screamer!!!!
  3. Intended to go tonight, but was late out of work. Anyway LINK if anyone needs it.
  4. Gorrin, like Turnbull gives himself time and options by letting the ball run across his body to open up the pitch. He's also two-footed, so when the play is in front of him he can switch either way. It creates fluency and means you can go more quickly from back to front front without using long balls. It's one of my frustrations with Frear - although I like him - he has a tendency to check back rather than letting the ball run across him. He loses a yard or two and helps the defender by doing it as it invariably means he's having to go again from a standing start.
  5. Don't see Bigi as a huge miss tbh. Came with a reputation, but never exactly set the heather alight and dead-balls aside was bang average when he got game time.
  6. Not sure if postef, but apparently Leeds looking at Stuart McKinstrey - £400k (comp presumably)
  7. His agent will have been touting him around anyway, as is his job. We've got the familiarity factor etc. Normally wages would come into it with Hibs etc involved, but given the nature of the situation, the fact its a loan and that Villa look to just want him away from the club, its probably just going to come down to player preference. Need to just see what happens.
  8. Yasss Aldred again. Superb delivery from Turnbull making the keeper flap
  9. Arguable red for Accies there. Nasty challenge on Tait
  10. Alternative link if anyone needs one: https://www.vipbox.live/hamilton-vs-motherwell-2-live
  11. ... Southampton apparently looking at David Turnbull. Can't see it.
  12. We were getting into decent positions around 25 yards out at times and down the flanks, but no final ball.
  13. Moult has just scored again for Preston.
  14. http://firstrowsportes.net/soccer/hearts-motherwell-krk6961c9?l=1444439259 Just in time for Hearts to score
  15. Just for clarity, I was just meaning in general, rather this particular incident, that if the ref deems it deliberate (by penalising it) a yellow should logically always follow. There are of course instances where this doesn't happen, which suggests the ref either isn't convinced it's deliberate (in which case he shouldn’t penalise it) or is picking and choosing when to issue bookings, which is cheating/shitebaggery. In the McHugh case, to me it looks ball to hand. As has been stated, physics and biology prohibit you from having your hands by your side when slide-tackling.
