  1. I think the change of shape, combined with the sub, killed us. We were utterly dominant, then just seemed to give them the run of the midfield.
  2. I'd like us to try something similar to the '85-'87 strip. I guess it would be similar to our 2015-2016 Macron strip (same neck etc), except replacing the sash with a band/hoop and the 'MFC' with the club badge. If NB are the new kit manufacturers, then it wouldn't be a million miles away from the new Liverpool top either, except with the obvious modifications.
  3. Don't really know what to say apart from I hope to fuck we stay up. Not been one to berate Samson, but can't really excuse the flap in the first half.
  4. Was Brian Wright not nicknamed 'The Windmill'? Maybe it was just my dad who called him that, but did he not used to run with his arm going round and round? This would be around when I first went to games 84-85? So all very sketchy.
  5. ...For anyone else that travels/is from outwith the local area, just noticed that the trains are all disrupted tomorrow, both via Hamilton, Bellshill and Inter-City. Is the X11 the best alternative?
  6. Wouldn't say we are down already. If we can stay off bottom, then as we've seen before, we could get lucky and things just ckick in the play-offs. Also, post split any points ICT gain are at the expense of our rivals. A long way to go yet, but a win here would give us at least a bit of breathing space as far as bottom spot goes.
  7. A lot of good shifts today, particularly up front. Pressed high although admittedly dropping a bit deeper 2nd half, although that's when we had our best chances. Bowman was a good target man and Frear looks as if he's developing into a good asset.
  8. Was touch and go for this, but heading through for a ticket just now. Expect nothing, hope for the best. We should have taken something from our last two games, here's hoping our apparently slightly better defence recently keep it tight for the full game.
  9. Couldn't make the game yesterday, but just saw the highlights. YET AGAIN, for both goals, we allowed the opposition player about 10 yards of space to get a cross in.
  10. As a side note. Jim Stewart is being released by Rangers. Are we not currently looking for a GK coach?
  11. We were crying out for a bit of width and I think Frear gave us that, albeit he didn't see much of the ball. Bowman provided a target and we seemed to get the ball down more in the 2nd half. Pen looked soft tbh.

    Mcghee Out?

Board meeting tonight according to Clyde
  13. With the goals yesterday, at least 3 of them you saw coming a mile away, to the point a where it was as if they were being replayed in slow motion in front of you. I didn't know what to say at half time. Utterly amateurish performance and a complete lack of game intelligence.

    Mcghee Out?

Aye, the bois were outside the main stand banging the drum and singing McGhee gtf. Not been a vocal McGhee-outer, but his time has come. Lost the dressing room and going by the past few weeks, losing the plot as well. Need a fresh face and fresh ideas.
  15. Allowing them pass at will in and around the box
  16. Not closing down and/or getting tight enough is absolutely killing us. Sure, well jockey or make a token move to get near a player, but always leave too much space to allow a shot/cross etc. I said similar earlier in the season. You need to stop the cross/shot. Its basic stuff. Red yesterday clearly changed the game and Tait's injury probably didn't help either. We were pretty comfortable before that.
  17. McDonald deal to Sydney was on before game, but Ciftci is looking like falling through, therefore scuppering it. According to radio Scotland there.
  18. Ciftci in for Moult rather than McDonald?
  19. It's all in the mindset. We have a huge issue in terms of inferiority when it comes to Rangers
  20. Another display of gutless Shitebaggery against this mob
  21. Dougie Arnott used to score regularly against them.
