  1. Quite. Especially given their entire support was in one place, easy to contain and alot of our fans had already left.
  2. Had the feel of a glorified pre-season friendly. Sat too far off them in the 2nd half and didn't press, perhaps because of a lack of fitness. They were a bit of a shambles at the back and we should have exploited it. I'm a bit 'meh, whatever' after that.
  3. No need to mention finances whatsoever. The rest was fine.
  4. I guess a positive is its further publicity for us producing players. Leeds, Fulham, Brighton (x2) and if the Leitch rumours correct Burnley all in for or players. Whilst it's frustrating losing players cheaply, we appear to be on the radar abd you'd hope sooner or later we get lucky with a decent transfer fee.
  5. Fixtures pretty perfect IMO. Annan and Stranraer away... On Saturdays.
  6. Especially when we don't necessarily need to win that game to qualify.
  7. It will probably just so happen that we play them last game of group.
  8. I assume gates are split? Guaranteed tv game and decent crowd. So at least a bit of cash in it.
  9. Don't know if I could be arsed going to Ibrox if we play it there.
  10. Quite liking the sound of it tbh. Ayr away please. Morton would do.
  11. Regarding the B sides - Surely uefa wouldn't allow the same club to field sides in different countries? I'd assume there'd be player registration issues as well with that as the parent club could only be domiciled with one FA. If they go, they go. Lock, stock and barrel.

    Bob Mc Hugh

Sometimes a player and a club fit. Good luck to him, but he had more than enough time to establish himself.
  13. Not sure if posted already, but apparently we've signed an NI U-21 called Josh Stachini, formerly of Sheff Wed. Left Back
  14. No problem with people not being allowed on the pitch, or the action the club had to take and obviously people have been asked repeatedly and ignored the club's pleas.. The authorities need to be consistent though. Previously the 'club doing everything it can' angle was satisfactory. It doesn't look like that's the case now, but with that in mind, it should apply across the board, to other clubs who have repeatedly been warned about fans actions. I'd expect in the interests of objectivity, the threat of sanctions should also apply elsewhere.
  15. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2016/05/07/well-fans-thank-you/ Fair enough.
  16. Looking forward to game and a bit disappointed season is ending tbh. Have quite enjoyed the last few seasons and quite a few good games in there. Being at the wrong end of the table (initially) makes it a bit edgier.
  17. A subtle ftof watermark would complete that badge IMO
  18. Ha, Liam Grimshaw has just phoned in to speak to Dom
  19. Dom Thomas is being interviewed on Clyde Rocks shortly as well, apparently.
  20. Aye, makes sense. Completely different perspective of game elevated v touchline. Hence why fans get so exasperated at times. Hopefully he saw the perpetual free space down our right.
  21. Ironically, I reckon the tide has turned amongst most fanbases after Rangers and their fans antics aftter the last few years.
  22. Other way around if its the one I'm thinking of.Although someone should have shouted to Skippy he had a man on.
  23. I actually think Samson isn't too bad an option and don't get the hate. He's as experienced SPL/Premiership keeper and was in Scotland squads at one point.
  24. Decent performance. Scoreline flattered Hearts. Should have been out of sight by the 65th min.
  25. Liverpool '86 centenary game? I definitely had one, but it appears to have been lost during various house moves. I got a ball handed to me at that game, signed by Alan Hansen, but unfortunately my dog took a shine to it.
