  1. Mine was 1984/85. Not sure which exact game was the first I went to. I'll say Clydebank for the sake of it. Earliest memories are a very vague recollection of us winning league/lifting league trophy, sat in the main stand. I also remember keeping on asking my dad "was that a goal?". For some reason, I thought a goal was awarded if the keeper saved it.
  2. All depends on how many years worth of independently audited accounts they have submitted I think. That said, the SFA can ask for dispensation based on sporting merit or something.
  3. Ah right. Definitely remember something going on with it. Yeah, did Aberdeen not shamefully vote to keep the 11/1 vote structure as well.
  4. Have they changed the amount 2nd place gets again (just in time for Rangers next season, eh)? iirc We lost out on cash because the distribution was changed. The took a chunk from 2nd and split it out down the league.
  5. St Johnstone, Dundee and Patick all losing so far
  6. Decent article. He really needed to caveat the "fans fully mobilise in times of crisis" comment with: *Except Rangers fans
  7. Aye, you'll get one no bother from the ticket office. Only thing I would say is there may be a queue for ticket collection, but shouldn't be that big - sometimes there's a different area for collection as well.
  8. A draw will see us there, which isn't outwith the realms of possibility. Neither is a win tbh. I guess it says how far we've come that you genuinely can't call it (possibly says alot about Celtic also). Will hopefully make it through for early KO.
  9. Dundee's game in hand is against Celtic as well. Almost there.
  10. Ha, so it turns out we scored in 62nd min. I thought we were 1-0 down. Tuned into mixlr just before they scored
  11. I think Fletcher was unlucky in that he was just on, the cut-back was slighly behind him and it was a decent save. You'd expect him to score from there though. As others have said, a goal ar run of games/sub appearances could see him kick on.
  12. Very harsh to be going in 1 down at half time. Interesting refereeing as well.
  13. He may just be washing his hands of the whole thing. That's a few resignations in a few weeks. May be entirely coincidental mind you.
  14. Was just about to post that. As you say, interesting. Remain unconvinced that we have the fanbase to sustain this.

Ross County's run started in Dec or something did it not? Anyway, would far prefer Accies went down. Not because of any rivalry, purely because it's a dreadful place to watch a game.

    Mark McGhee

Was about to say similar. Maybe the arrogance is a positive in his decision-making at times. We've won twice at Parkhead under him. I quite like him, in a sort of loveable-bellend kind of way. Maybe it's his likeness to Muttley Said on other thread, quite excited to see what he can do again after a full pre-season. The 3 up top, quick counter-attacking is good to watch. The play-offs were epic and topped of an exciting/nervous season last yer. I'll be quite happy with mid-table mediocrity just now though, especially given the start to the season.
  17. I think the thing with Thomas is, he needs game time in the first team. He's a standout in the 20's and needs to adapt to the step up. Fot some it comes naturally (Cadden/Hall), but Thomas is definitely an asset. One thing I would note, alot of the time he has doubled-up on/had a few defenders around him. But agree, just needs to work on decision-making and end product.
  18. Enjoyed that last night. As someone said earlier, reminiscent of McGee's last tenure with the trident counter-attack. Quite a few good performances. Johnson seems to be getting back to his best - Just needs to work on his finishing. Cadden again doing everything asked of him. Been critical of McDonald on the odd occassion, but linked and held the ball up well again. Thought Lasley was decent for the time he was on. United were a bit robust, but not going to criticise that - I'd expect us to be scrapping for our lives in their position as well. McGhee has us going in the right direction. Without being presumptuous, pretty excited to see if there's another gruelling pre-season and if we come out all guns blazing like his first season last time round.
  19. This. Was close to not bothering today because of it. Dreadful.

If we time a purple patch right, we may be lucky and scrape top 6. Even 7th would mean teams below us cutting each others throats. Win our game in hand and we're 6 ahead of Killie with games running out. Very much up to us if we stay up or not.
