I'm sorry, but why would Palace, who recently bought Christian Benteke for about £30m, be remotely interested in Moult?
Great player for us etc, but as otgers have said, Championship far more likely.
Coulibaly gives me the fear
Exactly the type of player we generally struggle against.
That said, we have a pretty potent attack in Moult, McDonald and Ainsworth.
Could be a few goals in this.
Aye, think he's got at least 2 years on his contact.
Anyway, as is usually the case, a huge part of this will be mentality.
The last game at Ibrox we should have taken at least a draw, but for incorrect subs and a slack pass.
We have the players to damage them and their defence is as dodgy as ours.
Need to believe we can win.
Partick have been playing 3-5-2, so we need to reshape to counter it apparently.
Why not just trust out own game?
There was talk of consistency earlier.
A settled formation/set-up would help.
... We'll see what happens. Very winnable game.
Was going to mention this.
Clay gets grief in here, he may look pedestrian, but he's tidy on the ball and keep possession. As does Lucas.
They may not run around and fly into challenges like Lasley, but they do retain the ball and rarely give it away.
If we've got the ball, opposition can't score (bar a calamity).
Ha,there are a number of things like this which grate and cannot be unseen.
One of mine is Lasley(and others) half-heartedly showing for the ball at a throw in then running away.
We were lucky to get nil there.
Complete lack of movement off the ball and their first two goals were a defensive shambles. The third the usual case of backing off.
That was painful to sit through. I'll be there on Sat, but not particularly excited by the prospect.
Have to disagree.
While some of Faddy's cameos in the past have been dubious, today we were immediately more creative when he came on.
Movement was far better and he was looking to play adventurous passes.
Indeed, Faddy getting the ball on the left cutting in, looking for options, then eventually picking out Tait was the build up to our goal.
