Rangers had huge amounts of the ball but did nothing with it. Never particularly felt threatened. Thought we were fairly comfortable and was quite happy for them to play sideways passes around the middle third. Foderingham had good saves from McDonald and Johnson. Same old frustrating story really.

As far as I'm aware uefa have (probably quite correctly) never stated a definitive position on the Rangers farce and probably won't until something requires them to. Even then they'll probably leave it to the SFA.

I thought a sell on fee was only applicable for the next sale of the player, rather than ad-ininitum? ETA: Didn't he leave on a free anyway?

I think we should be looking at over a million as well. He has an attribute which can't be coached - Absolute pace, which isn't everything, but when you add in end product which he's been producing recently you've got a decent player. To go down south for less than a million given the money being thrown around there would be disappointing.

We'd likely need to beat them at some point in the competition. May as well do it now

Quite. Especially given their entire support was in one place,easy to contain and alot of our fans had already left.

Had the feel of a glorified pre-season friendly. Sat too far off them in the 2nd half and didn't press, perhaps because of a lack of fitness. They were a bit of a shambles at the back and we should have exploited it. I'm a bit 'meh, whatever' after that.

I guess a positive is its further publicity for us producing players. Leeds, Fulham, Brighton (x2) and if the Leitch rumours correct Burnley all in for or players. Whilst it's frustrating losing players cheaply, we appear to be on the radar abd you'd hope sooner or later we get lucky with a decent transfer fee.

Fixtures pretty perfect IMO. Annan and Stranraer away... On Saturdays.
