  1. No Scottish team ever turned over a first leg defeat eh? We could be in line to do it twice in a row. FTOF
  2. Get the boy Humphrey set about them second leg
  3. Ref gave pen. Sutton Scored. Ref ordered re-take. Sutton Missed
  4. Could be a cracking signing financially as well if he turns it on here and gets a move.
  5. Aye, looks promising, especially as previously stated, Villa were in for him. From february: Aston Villa are chasing Shrewsbury winger Chris Humphrey, skysports.com understands. Humphrey has attracted the interest of a host of clubs following a number of eye-catching performances this season. Scouts have been flocking to the Prostar Stadium to cast an eye over the player, with Villa among the interested onlookers. Villa are now believed to be ready to follow up their interest with a firm move for the jet-heeled wide-man in order to steal a march on their rivals. Humphrey is out of contract in the summer and with Shrewsbury confirming they have shelved contract talks with all players, they could risk losing the former West Brom youngster for a small compensation fee at the end of the season

  11. The welsh commentary will probably make more sense. Could be worse, it could be Paul Mitchell... nothing personal but his commentary bores me to death.
  12. I would have been watching it in Glasgow but just going to catch it on net in house I think tho. Ask Michael in the Auctioneers to change the channel for you.
  13. I have lost count of the amount of times we have been tipped for relegation. Still going strong. Anything could happen. Daft to speculate at the moment, as well picking a name out of a hat.
  14. ... and we complain about the arrogance of old firm fans
  15. Bastard, cant get S4C on Virgin I dont think
  16. The more I see/hear of Gannon, the more I believe Boyle has got it 100% correct. He has come with a fresh pair of eyes and stated it how it is. Most SPL teams/players are happy with mediocrity and the status quo. What Gannon has done is laid down the gauntlet and challenged the players to show who has the bottle for the fight and to prove him wrong. He's setting the standards he expects from his players. I'm sure the manager would equally praise the team if he saw what he liked. He appears to be a no bullshit, straight to the point guy.
  17. That said, I think he was glad half time came. Cheers for brightening up the match mate. twennnnnty onnnnnnnnnnne!
  18. Much like the FA cup where a "minnow" gets a draw with a big team, Llanelli failed to kill us off and I tend to think they may not have done enough. The second leg should (I hope) see us through.
  19. I would tend to keep Fitzpatrick. He's had his job (pressing) the last couple of seasons and he hase done OK IMO. There have been a couple of times where he's been missed and opposing teams have had way too much time in midfield etc. Glamorous no, frustrating at times, yes, but he puts in a shift and thats the kind of player you need if you are scrapping at the wrong end of the table. Reynolds... definitely potential there but is lacking confidence and it shows when his indecisiveness causes errors. If Gannon can build his confidence and "aggression" back up, I think we'll have the Reynolds of a few seasons ago back. Forbes... as said previously he almost exclusively found a well shirt and retained the ball well. Looks to have a decent future. Although the result the other night was terrible, I was encouraged by us getting the ball down and passing it. given Gannon had only been in charge a matter of days. I think in time we could see some decent stuff if we sort out the lack of penetration and cutting edge.
  20. Haha... on a lighter note... I have just noticed the number 21 who was getting the rip taken out of him (from the guys in the east stand) is their player manager. Anyway.. obviously disappointed but think we'll turn it round 2nd leg.
  21. Sums it up. ... and well done to Boyle et al if they manage to get that kind of figure for him. The good thing about Porter, McCormack, Clarkson etc leaving (aside from the fees) is that if they are any good down there, then the clubs profile (esp in terms of player development) will shoot up. This will lead to increased transfer fees and also better chances of us landing players as they will see it as a good "stepping stone".
  22. Maybe he is using his German contacts
