I think with the 'Hammell bounce' in hinsight we were pretty fortunate to beat St Mirren with a Kelly masterclass. Horsed Ross County though. Kettlewell seems to have settled things down in terms of the previous frantic play. St Mirren was a bit of a graft, but Hearts we were relatively comfortable and didn't seem to be panicking/inviting them unto the game

They have a good home record, but for context I think its more that they've only won 2pts away, so the stats show they've accumulated 91% of their points total at home. They've won 50% of home games. P12 W6 D3 L3

Its not necessarily the cheap option as such. If they don't feel the calibre of the other candidates is suitable, then its entirely logical not to hire them and to give it to Kettlewell until end of season or whatever and regroup. I guess the Youth Academy aspect and what Kettlewell does after the season complicates it a bit though.

Ross Co v Dundee Utd next week as well, where there be some form of throat-cutting going on. A win for us guaranteed to put more distance between one or both of them.

Think the apathy is starting to set in with me as well. Past few games I've been raging, but just a bit meh now.

Danzagi - Largely anonymous. Was making runs off the ball etc, but barely got a touch Furlong - One or two slack passes, but seemed steady enough. Obika - Couple decent bits of hold up, but ball was just being launched at his head. Aitchison - Nothing really to note that I can remember
