  1. Dundee Utd will struggle to make the top top 6 this season. I think they have just about lost their whole midfield & if Goodfanny doesn't leave now i see him leaving in the January transfer window.

    Faddy

Surprised neither of the biggot bros have been sniffing around looking to pick up a loan deal to prove his fitness before splashing out on him.
  3. Motorola was an internationally recognised sponsor and it wasn't so long ago we had them. And there's Cash Converters in Australia so who knows where else it's recognised.
  4. Id imagine the plumber would bring the tap with him when he came to install it for you.
  5. Wish i was then i could get rid of Joel Porter a one legged dog is faster than him. I know it's all hypothetical but football clubs run at a loss & you end up throwing good money after bad. Do you really think any big time Charlie player is gonna bust a gut for Motherwell against St. Mirren or Killie? Any big name you enticed to the club would only be there for the money & be going through the motions til his contract expires & he can move on. For me all the money in the world doesn't make that a good investment. A private jet & luxury yacht would be higher up in my agenda for the simple reason that no matter how much i love Motherwell the Scottish league will always be pish and that's the reason no Russian or Saudi businessmen have ever been interested in investing in a Scottish club & if your talking about nous then these guys know a good business investment when they see one.
  6. A lot of people on here saying they would do this or that for the club but when push came to shove 99% of folk wouldn't do anything for the club. Football's a business like any other & what other business would you be willing to pump your money into instead of looking after your own personal wants and needs & those of your family & friends? Hell i love a beer but i wouldn't be pumping money into a brewery just to ensure they keep making beer. It 's their business & their responsibility to keep that business going my responsibility is to keep my family going and that's where my money would be going.
  7. This will be the same Bob Malcom that taught his Aussie girlfriend all about FTP, the words to the Sash & installed the Billy Boys as her ringtone while the whole time insisting that he is the people. As with all Aussies she knew nothing of Scottish football and couldn't give a rats arse about religion but hey im sure he's really a top notch bloke with a well balanced outlook on the world and a great tolerance for others beliefs.
  8. Was it not Doctor Who's Tom Baker? But for me no one will ever be worse than big Shanksy. Actually felt sorry for him one mid week game he was getting so much stick he looked like he was about to burst into tears. Was Hoping wee Tommy would take him off to save him any more abuse. At the time the rumour was that McLean was looking at another player & signed Shanks by mistake. Maybe McLean started the rumour as an excuse for buying such shite. Aye that Davie Cooper was pure mince as well.
  9. What i gather from McCall is that after the Law man signs we will be after one more player which will be a defender. That means he appears happy with our current strikeforce. Can't say i share his optimism oh that. If Higdon gets injured/suspended then i can see a good few Motherwell nil scorelines. Could be wrong but other than him and Murphy do we have any recognised strikers in the squad that isn't an inexperienced youngster?
  10. Unusually for a womens football team there appears to be more good looking ones than boilers but then i do have beer goggles on at the moment
  11. Hibs supposedly looking at Porter.
  12. My money's on him playing half the game for us & half for Thistle. Would expect a very poor turn out especially if the weather's shite. Can't see any attraction in this for Thistle fans on a Wednesday night.
  13. Can't remember the last time you had a post that didn't have something derogatory to say about Celtic. Maybe it's time you took off the blue tinted specs and realised the majority of Motherwell fans don't care less what's happening in Glasgow's slums. The Nazi's were without doubt the worst bunch of mass murderers of innocents that history has ever seen but if you want to be associated with them then that's your choice. That says more about your character than any words ever could.
  14. Lot of people predicting a top 6 finish for Motherwell. Seems a bit premature considering so far we have signed a like for like striker, released a few players & not brought anyone in to replace them. Been a few exciting prospects branded about but until they put pen to paper then don't count on anything as the Grella saga should prove. Hopeful of a good season but until the signing window closes i have no idea what kind of season we will have. And what's with the we will do well in the cups? Just coz we had 2 good cup runs last season? We won the cup in '91 and done absolutely hee haw until the diddy cup in 2005 and then again hee haw til last season and we had better teams then than we do now.
  15. Oooh you should get that looked at it could be the plague or some other nasty.
  16. If someone paid me to go and watch the Accies play in the First Division i still wouldn't call it value for money.
  17. I would be happy if he stayed im just saying if he left i wouldn't be too bothered. Either way we still need a more attack minded midfielder.
  18. Still no word on Jennings & tbh i won't be bothered if he goes. Sure he's a good player but he's exactly the same kind of player as Lasley and he spends too many important games suspended. If he goes then his wage can be freed up to sign a more attacking midfielder and bring more balance to the team. Got my tin hat on waiting for all the Jennings lovers to howler their disgust but at the moment we have an abundance of defensive midfielders and no attacking ones.
  19. My only question would be are the shares going to have to be bought each year or is it pay once & the shares are yours forever. For example you could have a (wealthy) family of five and the father decides he's gonna buy 5 shares so one for each family member. Then God forbid that family perishes in a car crash does that mean those five shares just lie dormant til the end of time? Surely an annual subsciption would both keep shares active and allow new fans to invest in the club or even current fans who can't afford it now but in the future may be able to.
  20. Must be something wrong with their mould coz all the players have an elephant man type growth on the side of their head.
  21. Must have plenty of applicants with all the experts on here who have claimed to know what was wrong with the pitch and the best way to resolve it
  22. Fair play to the Leeds fans for making the effort & i hope they do fill the South Stand as this would be good revenue for the Well. But just remember bringing a busload of fat bastards to fill the bottom tier is cheating
  23. Used to have an old boy sitting in front of me who's favourite cry was "get it up the park" which was always follwed by "keep it on the ground"
  24. Is Jimmy Shand no the only one on the wireless or is that only when it's fish for yer tea
  25. My mate who's a bun keeps telling me there is a 'Well fan who drinks in my local (a cracking British bar). However i have yet to meet this elusive chap so i'll leave it as a rumour for now. Oh & my 2 nephews who know hee haw about soccer as they call it both have 'Well tops so does that count? I know my son counts i wouldn't let him support anyone else
