Very happy for the boy but feel Scotland have missed the boat here. I stand by what i said. Playing Celtic your best players won't win you the game coz they are still going to have the better players. It's the more determined players that will win you the game & who's going to be more determined the guys who are at Motherwell next season and want to play in Europe with the 'Well or the guys who are buggering off to Hearts/Utd & playing in Europe with them? Tom Boyd was different in that he stated it was his last game & he'd be joining Chelsea so the final was a fitting farewell & a chance for the fans to say thanks for your services good luck in the big time. Would he have got the same reception if he said the final was his last game then he'd be off to join Celtic? What reaction would Sutton & Jennings get if they came out and said they will be playing for Hearts/Utd next season? Would everyone still demand they play in the final so we can say bye to them? Or would as i suspect everyone say get that Jambo c@*t to fuck and get a Motherwell boy on. I believe our name's on the cup this year whoever plays so it's a great time to be a Well fan.

If Jennings & Sutton are going to leave they should be man enough to say so now. Anyone not committed to the club should be dropped for the final. How would you feel if you were committed to the club but didnt make the squad for the final only to find that after these guys play in the final & pick up a medal they bugger off?

Wouldn't blame anyone for not going to this game. Expect more of the same with the players tip-toeing around like a bunch of pansies scared of getting hurt. Really admired Stoke who 6 days before possibly the biggest game in their teams history they were flying into tackles and totally dominated a strong Arsenal side. Fortune favours the brave and your more likely to get injured by tackling half heartedly.

Other than money there is no reason why Jennings would want to join the sheep & im sorry but if he is willing to join the sheep for a few extra bucks & therefore be completely devoid of ambition then i for one would be happy to see the back of him. Motherwell need players who are ambitious and want to use us as a stepping stone to bigger things not guys who are happy to move sideways or backwards just for a few extra bucks.

We have to win the cup now to get into Europe & wouldn't it be all the sweeter because it would GIRU Houston and Goodwillie. The trouble is the cup is now Celtic's only chance of silverware so they will be even more determined (read that as including refs being even more biased). Yes they were shite against ICT but after we pumped them they went on a run of great form so annoyed they have got their bad game out their system.

Just goes to show that no matter how well the team are playing and how confident the fans are the mould firm are always capable of ripping us a new arsehole. This is being billed as Rangers hardest game in their run in & i reckon they will be shittin' themselves. A wee early goal for us will have their fans on their backs & nervous passes being stuffed up all over the place.
