  1. Lasley but with a very honourable mention to big John. Still baffles me how anyone could have doubted him given his performances the last time he was here.
  2. Think we were in the Burns Tavern for that one, sweet memories. Great result despite having McLeish in charge...also didn't realise that was Gough's last game at Ibrox.
  3. Tempting fate but our "bad runs" of form usually don't last too long these days, so hoping this is the game we can turn things around.
  4. We've surely unhitched that chimp by now.
  5. That control from Henri for his goal has to be one of the first touches of the season
  6. Of course he meant that in a nice way
  7. I'd say the co comm is Gordon mcqueen
  8. Ok but I think you miss my point. We always get lumped in with the "who'd watch St Mirren/Kilmarnock/Motherwell" line, when we've been at opposite ends of the table for years now. Baffling.....
  9. On Saturday they were discussing the possibility of an Anglo/Scottish cup. Tom English said "how many English punters would watch a team like Motherwell on a Tuesday night" Seemingly ignoring all that we've achieved in recent years. I honestly think amazingly after all these years that it's just because people think our team has a slightly silly name.....
  10. I see it's Stuart & Tam at 5.30 today, so we *may* get a wee mention...
  11. Watching Alba now - have to say the park looks terrible, ball's hardly bouncing in places.
  12. Should Bob McHugh not be included in this list?
  13. It was a bad day at the office, and under the current management we've had to endure far fewer of these than we have any right to expect.
  14. I thought we were in fairly robust financial health, at least compared to most other SPFL clubs - sorry I haven't been following the other thread.
  15. You're *from* Brisbane Steelman? Nice one, must be some kind of long distance record
  16. Aye I know four of them and the closest comes from Perth
  17. This is what he can do when he doesn't have a hostile home crowd on his back:- Still, have to say he loves a parry
  18. At half time I was thinking would be happy with a point out of this, even at 0-0 Their 2nd has to be about the scrappiest goal ever and as said above should not have stood.
  19. Can't see that anyone's mentioned Higdon's post war scoring record last season.
  20. Outrageous. Papers should be contacted and also might we worth dropping them a line here:- http://scottishdsa.co.uk/
