  1. I thought McGinley was horrendous tonight. Tho to be fair, Mugabi, Gallagher & Lamie were just as poor
  2. Thats what we do though. We STILL let "2 Cup Finals" paper over the cracks of Robinson's reign. Why should tonite be any different. I wonder who is in for it on the Robbo blame game tonight? One thing is for sure, its not him! It never is!!
  3. We NEED NEED NEED a clear out with Foyle, Robinson & Lasley first out the door. We cant afford to reinvest in another 3 Seedorfs, Whites & Mugabis!
  4. Seedorf is like that kid in the Mighty Ducks that can skate at 100mph but doesnt know how to do anything else. Its embarrassing that he is deemed to be a professional
  5. Weve given about 13 penalties this season and Carson hasnt been anywhere near a single one. We have 6 mins to score or suffer the indignity of losing on pens to a part time pub team
  6. Zero Leadership from the Management or from the Senior Players. We are an unmotivated, poorly coached mess! Just shocking
  7. We were woeful first half too. Fortunately Coleraine are a pub team and gifted us a couple goals. Unfortunately that pub team is the only winner in this game now. If Robinson had anything about himself he would resign at full time
  8. We are out here. Fucking embarrassment of a performance, and now another 30 mins of incompetence to come. Only question is how they score their winner, another penalty or from open play.
  9. They put a fat pub player on and for 40 mins he pished all over Mugabi. Even Tommy Wright was laughing at the "fitness" of the guy.
  10. Penalty all day long. Shocking from Mugabi
  11. That has been in evidence for months. We look so poorly coached and all over the place
  12. How the fuck are we still ahead? We are being absolutely dominated by a pub team. This "performance" is shameful
  13. Yes. Good finish from Watt, hopefully that settles us down
  14. This Coleraine team are fucking pish, and we are lucky to be a goal up! We are allowing a team that is bottom end of the Scottish Championship level at best to drag us into a shitfest.
  15. Its absolutely crazy to think we never got a penny in transfer fees for either keeper!
  16. He is OOC at the end of the season and isnt fancied at all by Robbo as he clearly hasnt got the required background in the English National League North Division 3! This is an extended job interview for him. Hopefully it pays off and he gets a decent move in the summer
  17. Seeing as we have essentially disbanded the Academy / Reserve teams, and sold anybody capable of actually controlling and passing a football, there ISNT anybody left! Maybe in 2-3 years. But for now, once Campbell goes we have a couple seasons at least with a team full of non league journeymen from Martin Foyles back yard to look forward to
  18. I have no doubt he will move on. But he is the best player at the club by an absolute mile, our ONLY saleable asset left and the heartbeat of the team. Thats why I think we need to try tie him down with a view to actively sell him in the summer. Id give him a new deal and make him the highest paid player at the club. With the agreement we will actively help him to move once the season ends, maybe even a sweetener for him at our end. He is a massively important player, and to lose him & Turnbull so close together would be us cutting our own throats. Players that bring what he brings to the team do not come cheap and are generally not available for clubs like us at this time in the transfer window. With Donnelly already out till the new year, selling Campbell right now would be suicide
  19. Really concerning news that Stoke are apparently sniffing around Campbell! There has been a lot of chat about spending a little if we beat Coleraine to get a striker or winger but in my opinion we MUST throw a bucket of cash at Allan Campbell and get him to re-sign, no matter what. He is OOC at the end of the season, him going for free would cost the club around £1.5m . But selling him in the next 3 weeks would, for me, mean certain relegation and the issues that would bring! The next few weeks are gonna make, or break our season.
  20. Im not saying its easy managing a football team. Ive done it for years at Amateur level and its a nightmare, I can only imagine how hard it would be to do it with a Professional team. With the transfers, McKinstry & McAleer never played in the first team and had been highly rated and scouted by clubs since they were 14-15. Turnbull and Scott were the 2 biggest prospects to come out of our Academy in 20 years, possibly ever! Hastie & Cadden are probably another argument, but overall I dont know what Robinson done with regard to these guys that any other manager wouldnt have done. The transfers are surely a Club triumph rather than success for one individual? I dont see Celtic fans lauding Neil Lennon because they sold Dembele & Tierney for £45m whilst he has been manager?! Ive said it before and Il say again, I feel Robinson has done a decent job at Motherwell, but football is a results based business in the here and now. And the fact is that right now, he is doing a very poor job. We are bottom of the league, cant buy a goal and are throwing points away hand over fist. Im not even saying its all his fault! The players have to take responsibility as well, but the fact is, the Manager is the guy in charge and is the one who takes the fall. Il not say anymore on this subject. Some will agree with my point of view, some wont. No point going round in circles.
  21. I dont completely agree with all that you have said, but I will say the last paragraph or so is bang on. I am guilty of mixing the odd rant with some disingenuous comments and sarcasm without much care of how that comes across, so I do understand that while not intended, that may look worse when everything is looked at together.
  22. Quite the imagination Im not angry at all. I have an opinion and try to back it up with as much facts as I can. Id imagine an angry rant would be more along the lines of "Robinson is shite just cos! Sack the cunt" which I have never said. I did have a bit of a rant in the Turnbull thread, but again if you had bothered to read it I clearly said the deal we agreed was shocking IF it was indeed less than the amount we accepted last time. I am still of that opinion, the fee was "undisclosed", we will never know what we got so what is the harm in discussing it? Or is discussion not allowed here? Thats the thing, Ive put a post up and had the usual suspects just reply with "you talk shite" , "I could reply,but..." yet no actual constructive response. In regard to transfers, I asked what Robinson did that no other manager could possibly have done to get us fees for Cadden, McKinstry, McAlear, Hastie, Turnbull, Scott, Kipre? And in regard to league form, what has he done to improve us since we sold James Scott? But yeah, go on insinuating Im rampaging round the house in a fury so you can look cool with a smart comeback on an internet discussion forum
  23. I have said many times, Robinson has done a decent job at Motherwell. I dont think anyone can argue against that! But its just that, a decent job. My gripe is that some folk have him as some kind of messiah or utterly immune from criticism because he led us to 2 cup finals 2 years ago. Football is a results driven business, and the simple fact is that our results for a long long time have been an utter embarrassment. If we had improved even a little after a 5 month break and half a dozen new signings then I would cut him some slack but weve been utter shite this season. Yogi Hughes has been slaughtered on here and across other boards for his teams playing nice passes across the defence and midfield but having absolutely no cutting edge, but Steve Robinson doing it is just "unlucky" because he says we are dominating games. We are dominating fuck all! A manager at literally any other club in world football would be out of a job after not only 2 wins in 16 games but starting a season bottom of the table after 6 games with no wins and no goals scored in 5 of them........... but its ok, we will be fine in May, were too good to go down! Hearts, Caley & Dundee Utd fans all said that not so long ago too
