Its essentially been a long trial! Cloumbus sign him knowing they can screw us out the money, give him to Ocford for 6 months to see if he is worth the £600k then do the deal. If not, they still have a Scottish International for a pittance. And there is absolutely fucking no chance Cadden was clueless to the situation. Not that I have a problem with a players self interest, just save the crocodile tears in the paper and have the stones to admit you are a cunt

So Hastie hit the financial jackpot getting 4 or 5 grand a week on a free transfet tp Rangers, but Scott would lose out with a championship move? Doesnt make any sense at all! If a Championship team pays a million or so for Scott, 5 grand a week is the minimum he would get, plus he would be on to a handsome signing fee. I agree long term it may harm both, but of the two, even if its only a 3 or 4 year contract, Scott has the potential to really set himself up with a move to Bristol of such like
-
Ach he's shit! They should either release him or loan him to us for the next 2 seasons so we can develop him properly
-
Would definately agree there. The guy has played at a good level and is apparently fit. So it has to be a personality thing
-
He did at halftime, but never noticed during the game. We certainly had 7 subs warming up at halftime
-
Did they? Not from my view! We should have been 2 up when they Scored from their first attempt. Then they sat back, hacked and timewasted for 70 odd minutes. They had a few attempted counter attacks but were little more than ok overall

Seedorf is frustrating as he seems to have absolutely no "game sense" at all. Physically he is Rapid, and is certainly Skilfull, but he has very little Positional or Defensive sense. Great to watch going forward when he is confident tho. We would have been out of sight today if Scott had his Shooting boots on! For the County goal, it looked like everyone switched off after the initial cross that flashed past Stewart. Poor defending tho, was it Hartley who failed to pick Spittal up? Some goal from MacIver! And a deserved winner. From the second they went a goal up, County spoiled , fouled and wasted as much time as possible. They were lucky to only have one man send off, the amount of cynical fouls their defenders gave.

How much of a crowd are we likely to take to Dingwall?
-
Nah, Robbo mentioned this week or last that he had been surprised by how fast Manzinga has come on. I think he was signed as a wildcard with a view to next season if he ever "made it"
-
Gaz is allowed an opinion surely? As it happens I agree that Carson is a better keeper and deserves a chance. Gillespie has been great, but lets not kid on he hasnt chucked a few in this season as well, and as discussed, his distribution is woeful.

To be fair, all clubs play friendlies then. The difference the games are in Spain or Dubai instead of Scotland. The "January Break" is Horse Shit

Great goal from Scott And I love Bevis & Gallagher as a Defensive pairing. Both fucking units, powerful & dominant but good on the ball too
-
I dont care what Hibs or Killie do, all Im looking at is the gap to 7th. We are now 11 points and 22 goals ahead of Ross County! Thats a fantastic position. Good to see big JS on the scoresheet, and another clean sheet is nice
-
It must be shite being Liam Polworth. Leading goal assists in the league with Caley every season by a mile, with 1 or 2 goals of his own thrown in too, only to be moaned at because he often LOOKED Sad & didnt like tackling much and now has something like 3 goals and 12 assists in 18 games for Us and is branded a lazy bastard luxury player we dont need. Mental

Nothing like that, we were told the Operation was Precautionary, because the Celtic Medical picked something up that MIGHT affect him in the future. Im not disputing the Medical report or the Operation. Im disputing what we are being told! Turnbull has no history of Injury Problems, and he finished the Season fine. Was he already Injured? Has there been complications? Because to me, 8 months out for what we were told was a Straightforward, Precautionary Operation is a hoorna long time, especially when many other players come back from Serious Injuries in less time!
-
Out for 8 months for an operation on an injury that he never had and might never have needed? Whats going on here? This is gonna cost the club Millions!
-
Would love Bonnyrigg, BSC Glasgow, East Kilbride or Broxburn for something a bit different. Fully expecting Aberdeen/Hearts/Hibs away
-
Is it me, or is there something inherently weird about this?! The kid has played football for Motherwell since he was 10 years old and never had any injury issues. He plays all of last season and is a revelation and yet his Celtic deal stalls due to some injury which isnt an injury but might be an injury sometime in his life. He then goes for a "Minor Op" and more than 3 months later is STILL a month or two away from playing? What exactly was the problem that wasnt a problem but might have been a problem at some point later in his life maybe?
-
Would be a good way to reintroduce Turnbull.......... if he ever regains fitness after the "minor" operation that has kept him out 4 months so far
-
Ive said it for Years, McKenna is a fucking carthorse! Willie Miller etc have a hardon for him because physically he is a Unit and he plays for Aberdeen. I still dont believe Aberdeen knocked back £6m from West Brom. Mainly because I dont think Aberdeen would be daft enough to accept even anything close to half that, cause he's pish. Gallagher deserves to keep his place. Was head and shoulders above McKenna on Saturday
-
I remember when McGhee went to Aberdeen it was mentioned that we were paying him £150k pa and Aberdeen's Manager Salary was £250k. That was a long time ago, but Id be very surprised if we werent still paying £150k or thereabouts

Ooft, Love a bit of Alliteration lol

The majority of that is Land Price & adjoining development! And Hearts Main Stand shows why we will never redevelop our own at Fir Park! It cost a fortune due to extra constraints put on it due to its location in the middle of town. I know the club made a lot of Noise at the time about their trips to Aalesund and Odense and so design ideas would be different I would imagine, but a decent 10k stadium would be achieveable as long as we got land at a decent cost and were able to offset some of the expenditure with selling FP. Even adding to that, You could be looking at selling the Naming Rights and hosting a couple of Summer Concerts which between then could raise £500k a year and pretty much cover any decent Mortgage payment. And while I understand worries over groundsharing, If we boxed smart. A stadium at Ravenscraig would fly through planning and could be built very quickly with it being cleared and dead flat to start with. Whereas planning and setup for a Supermarket or homes (assuming there was a change of use) would take longer so there could be a possibility of moving straight from Fir Park to the New Ground, or at most a season at Airdrie. Theres a lot for the Club to think about and explore, but its certainly doable. The trade off is how long we can afford to stay at Fir Park, chucking hundreds of thousands of pounds at a ground that will only ever deteriorate every summer to just make it habitable
-
How did St Midden afford their Stadium then? We dont need to buy a stadium outright, there will be a multi year mortgage along with any money from the sale of Fir Park. The big question is the size of mortgage the board would be willing to take on! The bigger that amount the bigger/better the stadium
-
Easily as much as a brand new stadium! And You wouldnt be able to extend the Main Stand much due to planning, so You'd be looking at a big empty corner still. Plus, look at the Cooper & South stands, they are looking tired as well. The roof metalwork on both is rusted to fuck
