He looked dynamite at times last season! Would love Carey as well but sure he will have better offers. Certainly nice to see (if a bit weird and unnerving) MFC getting early and potentially quality signings thro the door

It means fuck all to be honest. Our best midfielder had to play centre half and our other options were Campbell,Lucas,Pearson & Clay, 2 of which are made of chocolate and barely played and Clay is barely a highland league level player. So Lasley was the (second) best of a very very bad bunch. We are literally begging for money from Well Society members and give what looks like a 2 year contract with 1 year option to a 36 year old who was finished when he signed it nevermind 2 years later. Now were paying a first team salary to a guy who will/should be nowhere near the team. No matter how you spin it,thats fucking mental!

And now the rant is out of the way. Good news on the keeper! Decent reports and looks very promising and I like the 3 year deal! I was skeptical of Robinson and am still to be fully convinced its not bluster, but Ive been really impressed both with his transfer activity so far and his comments regarding his squad!

Am I reading things right? Lasley has triggered ANOTHER year contract? So much for the "Il only sign another contract if I feel Im good enough" shite. Thankfully this time the closest he will hopefully get to the first team is being a water boy,but that makes the decision to offer such a contract to an 83 year old even more madness. Hartlepool keeper isnt a surprise seeing as our gk coach came from Barnet in League 2 and was coaching the Norn Irn keepers so he probably has good knowledge of him. Would be happy with Griffiths as deputy as well

I was talking to a Caley supporting mate last week about their team and Fisher (sure it was him) was dropped by Foran after a big fall out about a family member dying. Fisher wanted to miss a game as a close family member (parent or grandparent) died and their funeral clashed with a game. Foran told him no but he went anyway. Foran then dropped him but had to bring him in toward the end of the season

Id like to see Billy McKinlay in there. By all accounts a very good coach, knows Robinson from Norn Irn & gives a Scottish connection to the coaching team. However,while I agree with the concerns over Lasley, Id also be amazed if the Assistant is anyone other than him

With Bigirimana in, Id love to see us go 4-3-3 next season with McHugh,Bigirimana and Cadden in the midfield. That trio would arguably be the strongest in the league outwith the Old Firm. McHugh and Bigirimana will be a pretty tasty foundation for the team now. Id be delighted with those 2 in the middle in a 4-4-2, with Cadden in a midfield 3 or a great combo in a 4-2-3-1, certainly more mouth watering than another 35 games with Clay or Lasley treading water

Bigirimama would be a fantastic signing. Well outwith our prince range tho. Same with Craig Sibbald,who was mentioned on a "rumour" list. The fact it would cost us £200k compensation rules him out immediately

We had several deals "just about there" last week, nothing! Same this week, nothing! Typical pish and wind from the club. They stay either at Kingsmills or Drumossie when they stay up so Raigmore way would be about right. They tend to go to McColls @ the Fluke for their papers,Juice & lottery (Im not a stalker btw,I was the manager there many moons ago lol)
