Lawson,Lasley & Vigurs morphing into Lawson,Carswell & Vigurs as the season goes on would be fuckin tremendous. Faddy & Sutton could be a tasty striking combo too

If Hollis starts we may see a few sail in with no-one touching it. Hoping for Neilsen Ramsden,Hutch,McManus,Hammell Lawson,Lasley Faddy,Vigurs,ZFA Sutton The absolute worst thing we could do is play 5 across the middle with Faddy & Vigurs wide, Zero pace,zero support for Sutton and will only invite Kuban to press and attack after attack. Hoping for a 0-0,would love 1-0,fully expecting 0-3 after losing a shocker of an early goal!

Don't know bout that,they could always pack the budgie smugglers & take a dip down the Strathy if the notion took them,wouldn't like to guess what they'd catch in that water tho lol

Would be a crackin addition and give us a fantastic back 4 teamed with Mick,Hutch & Hammell but with our lack of budget and having Kerr & Ramsden there is safely say there's fuck all chance of anything there. Happy with Anier,pleasantly surprised that we've now brought in 8. Can Anier play wide right or is he purely a striker?

Unfortunately this year were moving from the best keeper in the entire country to 2 keepers as shit as each other, both in their mid to late 20's with a combined total of less than 30 first team games between them. I hope Gunnar is number 1 simply due to him not being a midget and hopefully less of a bombscare than Hollis but at the moment it looks like Hollis the man....... until he makes a c**t of it and has to be replaced

If Anier is our last signing that's a bit gutting, take away ZFA and we've gone from 1 of the fastest & most exciting forward lines in years to the slowest and least mobile in years. I'm praying for no injuries to Faddy and Sutton or it could be a long year ahead

Aye its a european game but as Leanne said,we need all the cash we can get! Surely after pulling a team most people have never heard of it would be better to have 7000-8000 at £20 than 5000-6000 at £25. I just can't see anything other than a half empty stadium now

Lasley shouldn't last the season,he is 35-36 now and for large parts of last season looked it,lets not get the over the top man love and the odd cracking game at the tail end of the season cloud our judgement. If we go 2 in the middle of a 4-4-2 it should be Lawson & Vigurs with Las supporting from the bench. If its 4-2-3-1 it should be Lawson & Las with Carswell regularly replacing Las. I still think we need 2 at the very least but if only 1 comes in it needs to be a pacey Right Winger. I really like ZFA and think a front 2 of Faddy & Sutton backed up by Vigurs,ZFA & a Rw could be very tasty. Lawson then sitting in front of a solid back 4 would keep us nice & solid too. Of course that would leave us praying for luck as there is only McHugh,Moore & Erwin to bolster the strikeforce but would do some damage the time they were together

Even if Hutch goes now,McManus will be the perfect man to help along Kerr/Cummins/Murray! Now for Faddy

If he wants Faddy,Mick & 2 more, I reckon it will be a right winger and a striker. Faddy,ZFA & a right winger providing width,Vigurs providing bullets from the middle & Sutton,Moore,McHugh & another striker to add the goals. Looks like it will be Kerr/Ramsden for right back. If we get McManus and play Kerr,Hutch,Mick,Hammell,it will have been a long time since we've had such a physical presence in defence!

Stats wise for the U-20's & Cowdenbeath, he was mint. And every week he was talked up on sportsound! Probably dangerous to say it but he does look the real deal early on. Big Lee Erwin as well tho I reckon we will see him loaned for 1st team experience this year

Kerr always has been a centre back from his youth days with us to when he signed for Brum,only under McCall has he been playing rb

That might say more about Hollis than anything else,decent backup to play the odd game every season but the defenders looked terrified everytime the ball was near him,no communication & no confidence in him from the looks of it.

So has Kerr signed? And if so is he 1 of the 5 McCall is bringing in? Very promising kid, not sure about being a right back tho

McHugh has been a bench player for 5 years,Can't believe McCall gave him another contract! Moore & Erwin seem legit prospects but both are only 18 and very raw. Another decent striker (along with 2 wingers,1of which hopefully Faddy) is a must cause even with Sutton,we are extremely short of firepower

Far from it bud,no delusions of grandeur here! And if I was in control of finances Id have never allowed precious cash to be wasted on giving McHugh an extension or signing the likes of Daley! My point is simple,the guys mooted (if they are indeed correct) don't inspire much confidence and there's a double whammy of a first team extremely poorer than last year AND a squad 4 or 5 bodies lighter than last year,there's only so much you can cut back

I hope to fuck were gonna make better signings than that tho with all the speculation it doesn't sound like it. Neilsen for Randy,Kerr for Hateley,Lionel Ritchie for Humph,Sutton for Higdon AND Ojamaa and 1 more? A starting 11 which will be severely weaker than the last and a bench exclusively of last years u19s players gives me the fear

As I said, when we make signings,which we will,our squad will strengthen and we will be able to gauge how well we will do but at this very moment our team is - Hollis Ramsden,Cummins,Hutchinson,Hammell Vigurs,Lawson,Lasley,Carswell McHugh,Moore (Subs - Erwin,Murray,ZFA,?,?,?,?) That team above would be lucky to stay above Hearts even with a 15 point head start. Yes other teams may not have strengthened much but name me 1 other team who has lost 7 of last years top 11 and 11 of their matchday squad in total? Will we be relegated?will we be bottom 6? Will we be top 6? Will we finish second again? I honestly have no Idea,it all depends on who we sign and as mentioned before,it is a mammoth rebuilding job
