a little worried at how much up + down we are, yes were inconsistent but its scary how good we can be and how awful we can turn within a few days. Its easy getting the team up for the big games,the test for him is getting the team up for the easy or smaller games and its a task he has failed miserably so far, On the plus side,he has us playing good football,his signings have worked real well,he is pretty honest in his summarizing of games, seems popular with the players and has us doing real well against the big teams in the league. So in summary, for me, he has a way to go but is doing a pretty good job so far,certainly better than I thought he would be. Still,the acid test is summer when he gets to mould his own team

Caley in no way outplayed us today. Their first goal was a touch of class, numbers 2+3 were HORRENDOUS defending and our back line were so shaky in the second half it really should have been 5-0. Humph ripped their left back apart in the last game up here, he should have started today. If we played with Murph and Humph wide and used their pace and Jeffers movement to stretch Caley we could have won today, we allowed Caleys slow,plundering defenders the easiest game of their season cause we did nothing but lump high balls to our strikers and fuck all else. Today was Hateleys worst game in a Well shirt I felt, he was fucking awful. Jeffers looked lost, Sutts got molested by Tokeley for 90 mins and our defence, for the 2nd half at least, looked like a pub team defence. We had a great chance to all but book our top 6 place today, we made an arse of it and really need to have a look in the mirror as our season could be over after the next 2 games if we (players + especially manager) dont buck our ideas up

Second idea id add is really push on the marketing + sales part of the Club such as 1.Have players go to different schools for "football clinics" where the kids train to get healthy as well as get better @ the game,the school gets x amount of free tickets. 2.Have "Welcome Packs" in all new build houses in the `Well area, welcome letter,fixture list,coupon for % off a meal in Centenary Suite,Coupon for free tickets to a game 3.Start a "Business club" , sell packages for seats/boxes to local businesses, as part of package they get ad in programme,logo on their seats,% off club function facilities and monthly "networking lunches" etc 4.Start "Club91" where fans can come for a pre match meal,post match drinks and match ticket all in 1 bundle, good for birthdays,presents etc. 5.Have posters in shops around town advertising games @ Fir Park Sure theres more ideas but you get the gist.

In October? we were 5 points or something clear in 3rd, now were 8th,that is a big drop over 3 months. Did i say anything about relegation? apparently McCall said we got knocked back by 5 targets on deadline day, that to go with the fact he stated his phone was "ringing off the hook" and the result was a player who was ineligible and nothing else? (I am talking about strikers) that suggests to me there is a problem somewhere, either the board is not supporting him, McCall cant sell the club or he is going after the wrong players from the start,either way its not an ideal situation! We are wafer thin in the striker department, and my point about Gary Smith is that he didnt impress at Dumbarton for whatever reason and to me,that looks like he isnt ready for 1st team football at the moment,I liked the look of him seeing him come on v Breibablik but it wouldnt be fair on the lad pushing him into the team and depending on him to win games for us but thats the realistic fact if we lose Sutton/Murphy or both over the next 6 weeks. The rest of the squad I reckon is fine, I wana see Meechan,Page etc given games but up front we needed a striker desperately and failed.

The problem,at least in my eyes is that even although weve had success in recent seasons the squad is STILL shrinking, weve had successive seasons in europe,top 4 finishes and now cup semi finals and STILL we lose player after player without replacing the most important ones! now were dropping like a stone in the league,have a management team who look like they cant manage to sell the club enough to bring new players in so where does it end? how much more can we cut away from the squad? if we end up 10th this season,which I feel is more than likely given our inability to score goals and paper thin squad,how many more players will we see leave + not replaced? will we see anyone at all come in during the summer if we dont manage top 6 or even 7th or 8th? its certainly not looking too good at the moment
