this is a distant past "Out" but was watching Soccer Saturday this afternoon and they were interviewing Steven Fletcher. He was talking about his early career and said he was actually at Motherwell,but left us to "get his chance at Hibs" , gutted about that as I think he`s a fantastic player, couldve made us a few million as well.

I can understand the guys being pissed off, Im the same myself! The thing is,its not just an admin error as Leeann stated, its the repetetiveness of everything. Our pitch was fucked and cost a bomb to fix, and its happened again (& again!) we lost our manager due to not having a contract (Gannon), and it happened again (Judas) we got burned by the transfer rule (Leatheren) , and it happened again (Grella) we have to spend cash we can ill afford on our shitehole stadium just to keep the fucking thing with a basic safety certificate, and its happening again (pipes,roof holes,pishy concourses etc) we were publically knocked back by Sbragia,then it happened again with McDonald were told by our own manager if Blackman comes back to SPL itll only be to us, and he signs for aberdeen were told by our chief exec we will have a big exciting shirt sponsor in early july, and were scrambling around for anything come mid august If this was an isolated incident I doubt there`d be much venom spouted on here but we as a club NEVER FUCKING LEARN! And these things have all happened within an 18 month period, Im sure no-one here actually enjoys kicking the club when theyre down but jesus christ do the club make it easy for folk to moan when they seen unable to complete even the simplest of tasks. And on the fan forum, I commend the club on doing this but it strikes of a knee jerk reaction as they see just how strongly the fans feel about getting fucked over + ignored. If fan communication was so important why wasnt a forum organised BEFORE the league reconstruction meetings as opposed to after? you can do whatever the fuck you like to the stable door now, the horse is fucking miles away. Anyway the league reconstruction part of the forum is pointless, the Old Firm want a 10 team league, so its what were getting no matter how MFC want to dress it up

Its not the loan that bothers me,I agree McCall prob has other targets for summer and wants this guy in to do a job for a few months but if this was the case,surely we could come up with someone a bit better? personally if this guy is the best we can do Id rather we gave Jamie Pollock , Steven Lawless or Jordan Halsman a run at left wing and see how they develop, theyd already have the experience of Sutton,Jennings,Lasley,Craigan + Hammell playing around them,so why not develop our own players instead of paying for some shite journeyman who has never amounted to anything other than being the English leagues version of Jim Hamilton

if we can find a new left midfielder great,if not Id like to see Jon Page installed @ left back + Stevie Hammell at left mid. Or Jordan Halsman called back and tried on the left. Both would mean blooding one of our young talents with Hammell on the same side helping them out with his experience

Couldnt comment on Dario myself as what ive seen of him is extremely limited but he is a big unit,would like to see him given a chance and see what he`s capable of

Amen! Steven Meechan has 6 months left on his deal. He has a lot of potential and has impressed on his loan spell @ Albion Rovers but has cut it short to try impress McCall by being at Fir Park daily, surely it would make sense to give HIM game time to prove his worth to a new deal which could benefit MFC rather than Fitzpatrick getting yet another deal and potentially stunting the development of a promising younster. I know I can come across as a Fitzy hater but Im looking at this from a club perspective, if we had cash free I wouldnt object to giving him a 6 month extension as he may be average/poor but he`s a whole hearted + dedicated player and can cover 2 or 3 positions so could be useful if injuries were to bite. BUT the fact is the club is rooked and EVERY PENNY is a prisoner,I dont care if he is only on £100pw its money we can use elsewhere to benefit the club and we simply cannot afford passengers. Also we have youngsters desperate to make an impression and these guys could benefit the club by becomming good enough to command a transfer fee so we must try develop these guys before giving yet another extension to a guy who has failed to make much of a first team impression in 7 years and is at best,a div1 player.

good to know most of the boys are tied down after the summer then. I take it Halsman,Lawless,Innes + Quinn are on loan to Annan,Albion + Linlithgow till the end of the season? In which case,I do hope Meechan can get a run of games to get his extension as I have heard good things about him. Wee G, you think Dario is a better centre half then Hutch? Is Page a centre half or are we gonna see him more in the full back positions?

I think our priority should be with Jordan Halsman,Stevie Lawless,Steven Meechan + Peter Innes rather than Fitzpatrick. These 4 boys were the cream of last years u-19s,play left mid and centre mid,are highly regarded in both the Scotland youth setup + by the clubs theyve been loaned to, and are out of contract in june. Surely it makes more sense giving them a run and seeing how they cope than wasting money (no matter how small an amount it might be) giving yet another extension to Fitzy,who has shown he aint really cut out for SPL 1st team footie with the fact he`s never held down a starting slot in 5 or 6 years
