St Midden are playing 4-5-1, to get an "extra man" in there we'd need to Levein it with a 4-6-0 or a weird 3-6-1. Formation isnt the problem. We could have 10 in midfield, if they dont follow runners & close down space they wont stop the opponents! Why do we never look organized of like we have scouted the opposition?

Formation is a moot point, Long doesnt want to be here, Maguire is showing why he hasnt broken through the last 3 years and Grimshaw, Mugabi, McGinlay, Hastie, Cole, White & Lamie are barely scottish championship level. Our squad is so poor, we have 46 strikers who cannot score, a midfield with zero goal threat and a defence determined to give every opponent a goal headstart every game. Add that to obviously poor coaching and its far from a recipe for success

The formation isnt the problem, its the players! We have a 1 man midfield, doesnt matter if we have 3, 4, 5 or 7 in midfield, Maguire and Polworth are utterly shite, and there is nobody else who can come in. McGinlay is a Scottish Championship defender at best. Our front 3 look handy if they can get support but theres more chance of me riding Jennifer Lawrence than that happening
