hearts have signed Kyle,not the messiah but will get them a fair few goals, pre season means fuck all, hibs have the same team as last year with 1 or 2 new good additions,Utd the same, Hearts have lost a couple but have added a striker,something they would have killed for last year + Aberdeen have lost a few,mainly dodgy (mulgrew) and replaced with some journeymen + 1 or 2 with real pedigree, We have lost 7, signed 3 (1 of which will play any actual football) and from last years squad weve lost 16 goals + at least as many assists with Lukas,JOB + Coke alone, we have a 25 man 1st team squad,14 of which are 21 or under + take away Saunders,Forbes + Murphy,the other 11 have less than 15 SPL appearances between them. We have no left winger,no main striker and no creativity,but its all good,we have 3 keepers!!

teams like Aberdeen have signed a lot more than Us! could be argued Aberdeen,Hearts,Hibs + Utd are stronger so we wont be in top 6. Going through an entire season with Sutton left wing,Murphy target man, NO creative players + 2 19 year old players as back up is both pure shite + unfair on the young guys

Humphrey`s problem at the Breidablik game was the strikers movement was shite, Murphy is good running at people but he`s not an instinctive striker, Im sure I counted 3 top class crosses delivered on a plate, but Murphy just seemed to follow Sutton instead of making separate runs. Unfortunately it seems Pa Broon just doesnt fancy him tho and its a shame as if used regularly which would build his confidence,he could be devastating

surely the fact we have signed no-one shows it has impacted our ability to bring in new players? And with the club stilll negotiating, while fair enough to get the best deal for us, to me it shows we maybe havent been as fast as we should have been in getting things sorted. With regards to players, yes I was on about Lukas + JOB, Lukas was our top scorer last season and had worked his way into being a vital part of the team, Murph has done ok so far but they are different types of player and I believe a Lukas type (or the fabled ESTEBAN! ) would have had at least 1 or 2 over the course of the Breidblik game, and JOB is the kind of player weve been crying out for in the 3 games weve played, I wasnt his biggest fan and still think he`s too much of a sand dancer but it cannot be argued he created a lot for us and that creativity has been sadly lacking so far. And as for the European games, we were seeded in both rounds meaning we had an easier path to a potential glamour tie, surely it would make sense for the club to ensure as much as they can that we make it to that round where the worst we would get is a full house at Fir Park and the best could be 2 televised games and a few hundred grand into the coffers, every little helps. Yes this could be a moot point if we go out and win thurs nite but its been harder than it needed to be and progression will have been more down to luck than anything else.

well Id argue that the fact were playing european games with no sponsor,selling shirts now with no sponsor + seem unable to replace our 2 most important players,putting a potential fortune in jeopardy are factors that point toward us having no sponsor signed, and if its still being negotiated why the fuck is that happening? Its not like us losing last years sponsor was a bolt from the blue

Ok people have given the old wink wink nod nod,I know something you dont spiel but I cannot understand why,if we really do have a deal in place at the moment,we do not have a sponsor on the shirt? And the selling of shirts sponsorless just adds to it, why sell shirts without a sponsor if a deal was imminent? The fact of the matter is, weve known since we signed the last deal our shirt sponsor was ending this summer, at the same time weve known since then the record TV deal went up the shitter and we know the economic climate is making peoples purse strings tighter than a camels arse in a sandstorm so why in the fuck,when cash,esp at a club like urs,is so scarce do we not have something concrete in place? why in August are we still negotiating or ironing out details? It just reeks of a total clusterfuck. To add to it, its harming the chance for the club to make a serious amount of money, we are 1 game away from a potential money spinner! and yet we were very lucky to beat a very average part time team in the last round and will do well to beat this Norwegian team because we have little creativity and a poor-average goal threat, this sponsorship money could have helped to bring in a player to alleviate that situation! Leanne said on the radio the other week that some fans dont want to face up to the reality of financial matters at football clubs, Id argue its the Administrators + people in charge of Clubs who dont want to face up to reality, The fans are being bent over + shafted, paying ever increasing prices for an ever declining product, we lose our best players + do not replace them and yet they still expect us to pay £300-£400 a year for a season ticket,or £18 - £25 per game,giving us the line of how our cash will help the club, all the while one of the staples of the club finances,shirt sponsorship, is STILL up in the air in fucking August!

whats the craic wi the u-19 team now? weve promoted 6 of them,released 8 or 9 and are now left with a squad of 4 or 5 players. Are we trying to save money by merging the u-17S + 19s? or are we bringing in 10 - 15 new u-19 players?
