  1. Page is just unlucky as we already have Reynolds,Hutch,Saunders,Crags for centre half, but I remember Gannon saying he`d make a cracking right back, maybe this could be the thing to help push Hateley back into his holding mid role? Tho with how well Jennings + Lasley are doing? do we need Hateley in there?
  2. Anyone heard anything of the 2 guys we have out on loan, I know Jon Page scored 2 yesterday + has played 5 full games in his time at Stirling Albion + Darren Smith was an unused sub in his 1st game, then started 2 (got subbed in 2nd game) before dissappearing. Anyone heard why Dairylea didnt make an impact? or how well Page has been playing? Seemed to work for Ross Forbes last year + sounds like its gonna be a feature next season, loaning the youngsters to get experience so was wondering if its been worth it for these guys
  3. total anti climax, had awesome seats in the upper main stand, unfortunately great view of Marshalls hoffific mongo goalkeeping performance
  4. Jamie Pollock is the next big thing Ive heard but he`s a bit young, Gary Smith has been banging them in up front and Steven Lawless,Ryan Martin,Steven Meechan are Scotland regulars so a few prospects
  5. I did the same, couldnt get a ticket for the Well end so me,the old man + ma sis ended up in the Nancy end next to the Well fans, but you had to sign up for the membership thing on the website. Ive still got the entrance card in my wallet.
  6. Grannies Heilan Hame? nice part of the world!
  7. Fraser looked dodgy as fuck against LLANELLI never mind a whole season against SPL teams. He is fine for a back up for a club at our level but he aint a no1 keeper, I still have Caley supporting mates who laugh when asking bout him. His kicking is ok and shot stopping is superb, but cross taking, command + decision making are junior level. As i said,ok back up,not 1st team number 1.

as fatcalf says lets just enjoy him while he`s here. Apparently Newcastle had him watched last night, he`s causing a bit of a stir so id be amazed if he is here next season
  9. Thats why I said among the worst, yes theres other refs in europe as bad but as a whole group,Scottish ref`s are CONSISTENTLY shocking. Are they ever going to improve? Why should they? No accountability, pure arrogance, ability to judge their own mistakes on appeals, their pals + media at the ready to round the wagons when anything bad is said, so they can turn up at 2pm,have a wee jog n blether with their pals,do whatever the fuck they want during the match in the knowledge that no matter how bad they are theyre bulletproof + drive home at 5pm with £800 in their pocket. its a joke
  10. no chance it could happen at the stade de france! It did happen at the Frankfurt arena @ world cup 2006 (the stadium with the big media box over the centre circle + retractable roof on a washing line thing)
  11. Scottish officials are among the most inept in european football, which makes it easy for the media + ref bosses to tag in the "only a mistake" line on occasions actual cheating does happen (ie halfbreed linesman + Forbes goal v h**s)

  13. fuck the Jambos! Mon the draw or Mon Utd! keep those smelly Gorgie spunkbuckets as far behind us as possible! Great win today, real shaky defence but managed to gut out a win, superb performance
  14. I put my wedding next year forward a couple weeks as the original date clashed with scottish cup final and id feel right bad leaving her waiting at the altar in inverness while im at hampden (cause knowing my luck we`d make the final)
  15. if its the newest generation 3g surface its just like playing on a slick summer pitch. bounce is higher like a firm pitch and it runs like a slicked pitch, cracking surface to play on in my eyes!

    The Run In

said before + will say again, pretty sure the cup final will be contested by Rangers/Celtic/Hibs which means 5th will make europe, 5th will do nicely thanx!!! After the split we can worry about 2nd/3rd/4th etc, till then the only games Im interested in are these : M`Well (41) - Home to Hearts + Falkirk Away to St Johnstone, St Midden, Celtic, Utd Hearts (37) - Home to Hibs, Rangers, Killie Away to Utd, M`Well, St Midden Aberdeen (29) - Home to Utd, St Midden, St Johnstone Away to Hamilton, St Johnstone, Rangers, Killie St Johnstone (28) - Home to M`Well, Aberdeen, Falkirk, Utd, Rangers Away to Falkirk, Celtic, Hamilton, Aberdeen We beat St Johnstone + we pretty much seal our top 6 place as we`d be 16 ahead of Saints + 12-15 ahead of Aberdeen with still 5 games to pick up points. Aberdeen are away to Rangers + Saints play both halves of the gruesome twosome plus St Johnstone play Aberdeen twice so they should both lose enough points to ensure neither make it past 44 points. If I was being really greedy Id ask for wins against St Johnstone,Hearts + Falkirk and draws with St Midden + Utd but that would REALLY be asking a lot, tho on the run we currently are on,certainly not impossible!
  17. Thats my thinking as well, which leads me to believe the pitch was fucked up by staff!
  18. Love that word if the pitch was a mud heap you could blame the weather but seeing as the grass looks dead and is packed with sand,it would look more like the actual grass roots have been killed which would suggest the undersoil heating was to blame and so the groundstaff are responsible. How was the pitch tended to during the snowy weather? was the pitch cleared of all snow before undersoil heating was turned on? or were covers + snow left on essentially "baking" the pitch? and if the new drains "worked too well + left the pitch with no moisture" why werent sprinklers used to add moisture? many questions need answered, was interested to hear a guy on the radio scotland phone in last night saying he personally knew the guys who installed the pitch and Boyle went for the cheap option instead of spending a bit more and doing the job properly, is this true?
  19. im pretty sure two from Rangers, Celtic + Hibs will contest the scottish cup final meaning top 5 will get europe. 5th will do for me in that scenario, but if its dream time, third isnt unreachable
  20. was quite impressed with that, Jordan was better by miles tho
  21. Im sure a zero tolerance policy would stamp out any c***y behaviour pretty fast, you visibly drunk/unsteady at the gates, you dont get in,you unsteady at the counter,no service, you make an arse of yourself, out you go. You go overboard or throw your cup, lifetime ban + appropriate police charges! Have that broadcast on the clubs websites/in stadium posters/tannoy announcements etc. The fans who would like a quiet cold beer during the game far outnumber the ones who just wana get mangled, and those guys would be brought in line quickly. Its pathetic that the majority are punished for the arsehole antics of the few. At the end of the day, how many guys watch the footie live in the pub at the weekend, drinking? (Ive watched a fair few games in the pub with well fans + oppo fans mixed, or scotland games and it can be just as highly charged an atmosphere as being in the ground) and how many of those trash the bar or put their glass through the telly when an oppo player dives or the ref makes a c**t of it? none! and why? cause they know they get put out and barred/pubwatched and possibly arrested. Im not even saying Id def have a drink when I go to the footie, but I feel I deserve the right to make the choice!

    John Ruddy

Ive been going to games since the early/mid 80`s and at the moment big Sieb is ahead by Porno `Stache, then Ruddy and honourable mentions to Maxwell + Buzz,
  23. Id be all for this, done the same way as in England, out if sight of the pitch. Could Even have Baseball style vendors selling from their trays to minimise waiting/queing at the pie stalls. Given the fact you can drink all you want at a rugby match and at concerts etc there cannot be a legal way to block this, Even if the SPL brought it back for a 2 or 3 month trial period to see what happened. Only thing I would ban tho is Alcohol being served at Old Firm games, cause those wanks would just abuse it and then use it as an excuse for fighting / belting out their party songs Edit : Germany is the way forward, Drink AND Terraces!
  24. we play Hibs in an all out football game + we`ll get ripped apart. Play high ball to Sutton + Bamba will eat them up all day! Play a sweeper, outnumber them in centre mid + shut off their front 4, play pace up top to stretch + turn their defence, Coke being spare man in mid can break to support the front 2, tell the front 2 they have to chase + hassle the whole back 4 to stop them building, bring on Murphey,Humphrey + either Forbes or Sutton to come on in last 20-30. Ruddy Craigan Hateley,Saunders,Reynolds,Hammell (Zemama)(Stokes)(Riordan)(Benji) Lasley,Jennings,Coke (Miller)(Rankin) Lukas,O`Brien (Murray)(Hogg)(Bamba)(Wetherspoon) (Smith) Keep it tight + frustrate them and Id predict a 1-0 or 2-0 Well win, try to match them at Football, and it will be 2-0 or 3-1 Hibs
